We really appreciated the cabin and the great service from the staff. Wilmer, that lived very close to the cabin, was always helpful and attentive. It was easy and fast communication with the staff on WhatsApp when we ordered take away food or a tuk tuk to go downtown. The fridge had complementary breakfast that we could cook in the small kitchenette. The view from the cabin towards the “stone” (La Piedra Del Pañol) was amazing. Remember to bring repellent against - mosquitoes can come into the cabin from the small cracks around the windows :-)

Communication super, wifi super, personnel sur place super et la vue est splendide ! Vraiment nous reviendrons avec plaisir. Petit conseil : une moustiquaire au dessus du lit serait top. A recommander !

Pros. Nice view, courteous staff, relatively clean and comfortable accommodations. The host provided breakfast items to allow guests to prepare their own breakfast. Cons. 1. Not really set up as a true glamping experience. 2. Location in Expedia map is not correct. The property is actually located before the town of El Penol. 3. After we arrived, a house right next door began playing extremely loud music which started at 8 pm until around 4 am in the morning. It was so loud sleep was impossible. We finally gave up and requested the host contact the police for relief but to no avail. Then at 8 am that same morning a different property also began playing loud music. So, two properties were blasting their music at the same time made it extremely uncomfortable. Needless to say, both properties were completely disrespecting the peace and quiet most guests are seeking from a glamping experience. We decided to check out early. Although we intended to give it a two-star rating, we gave it 3 stars because of the view.

The room needs a lot of maintenance, very nice and friendly staff.

Very nice overall. There were few doors that were crack ( no big deal) we requested to extend for about an hour, but we were told that they had other guest arriving. I did ask the guard to let me utilize his internet for a meeting that I had and he was kind enough to share the password. Overall was a great experience. Well appointed and the sunrise and sundown was definitely nice.

This hotel made me question all my previous 5 star reviews! The location and setting are absolutely amazing. The info on hotels.ca is a bit confusing, so I wanted to answer some questions I had when I booked. Both google maps and hotels.ca show the location as being in town. It is NOT in town. It's a 15 minute tuk tuk to town, and a 20 minute walk to Piedra del Peñol. The gate is locked, and you will need to WhatsApp the hotel to let you in. Once you are checked in Wilmer lives on site and will let you in and call you a tuk tuk whenever you need one. I can't recommend this place highly enough, and hope to return someday!

The space was cozy, clean, and well-equipped for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy some tranquility. We’ll definitely be back!
