Blue River Resort & Hot Springs

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at blue River. The rooms were huge and super clean. We really appreciated the coffee maker every morning. We did the zip line tour with blue River and it was great. The spa pools were very relaxing with tables and chairs at each of them. there were no surprises with the bookings.

Mi opinión es que el hotel esta muy bonito con una vegetación impresionante y mada mas , nuestra experiencia fue horrible, , para llegar al hotel fue catastrófico, la carretera no tiene condiciones de ninguna manera para llegar hasta tan lejos, todo cierra temprano y ya no puedes comprar ni un pomo de agua, no tienes acceso a salir a ningun lugar por los alrededores porque no pasan ni los taxis, osea esta en un lugar alejado de todo , solo puedes estar en el hotel y nada mas , tienes que pagar por ver la television, no permiten llevar ninguna bebida oh refrescos a la habitacion , solo si te abren las botellas alli , bebidas que tienes que pagar, el desayuno que te dan incluido es de reir , las pequeñas lascas d una sandia, de piña y 3 lascas de papaya , la ridiculez en persona, y ojo vengo de un pais que no falta la comida , osea no voy de viaje para solo comer, eso da verguenza a diferencia d otros hoteles ahi mismo en costa rica que dan sin tanta miseria, no puedes hacer tours fuera del hotel todo es ahi ,no hay musica, no hay diversión, alli no pasa nada solo el ruido de los grillos ,solo se lo recomiendo a las personas que quieran hacer un retiro espiritual tenia muchas expectativas con este hotel pk fui a celebrar mi cumpleaños y me dejo mucho que desear , deberian arreglar esa carretera pk la travesia no tiene nombre para llegar ahi, las piscinas de aguas termales super sucias , oxidadas , necesitan una mano , en fin no aguantamos ni un dia , nos tuvimos que ir de alli

Food wasn't great

Beautiful hotel in the middle of the rainforest with a lot of fun stuff to do on the property and in the area. Amazing nature! Reception staff is super friendly and helpful!

Beautiful resort, friendly staff, amazing activities- we even saw a sloth on the property! We had a wonderful time!

Lovely pools and botanical gardens. We even saw a sloth in the trees. Only downfall was the location, the road to the hotel was not ideal. 30+ km on very poor gravel road. We did a waterfall hike which was fantastic!

Chambre quadruple très propre style cabane rustique Assez éloigné des activités Hôtel Mag ou avec une superbe végétation Cependant déçu du petit déjeuner qui était limité un choix entre pancakes ou petit déjeuner américain ou Costa Ricain mais quantité limitée Restaurant de l’hôtel très cher pour la qualité proposée. Il est préférable de sortir manger même si peu choix aux alentours .

Spotless room with wonderful bed, lovely amenities (coffee/coffee maker, glass drinking glasses, mini fridge) and friendly, gracious staff in every position throughout the property. The pools were relaxing and/or rejuvenating (depending on the temperature), the grounds are beautifully maintained and the food is plentiful and delicious. Thank you for a lovely and relaxing stay!

Beautiful location (pictures aee very accurate), good food, good staff- just very isolated with limited activities.

Staff very polite and helpful. A must is the cathedral waterfall tour with Oscar. Enjoyed my stay.

L’endroit est tout simplement un bijoux caché. Effectivement, la route pour s’y rendre n’est pas évidente, mais ça en vaut tellement la peine. SUPER propre, bien entretenu, beaucoup d’animaux, nourriture très bonne au restaurant, personne aimable. Rien à dire de négatif, séjour plus que parfait. Ça vaut VRAIMENT le détour :)

We had a wonderful time. The grounds are so well manicured and lanscaped. We loved our lodge. The hot springs and additional acitivites were amazing.

Everything from the friendly staff,good food, and nice rooms was good. The only thing I feel like they need to do is upgrade the gym.

We Enjoyed our stay, clean, easy acsess to every part of the property, Sebastian was great. Pools mud bath and sauna, wish we can stay longer, it was one of our best day in costa rica.
