The property is located in a nice place but is showing lack of maintenance inside and outside.

As you drive up through the palm trees, you can tell you’re in for a treat. Peaceful, beautiful grounds surround Casa Hotel Turrire- and include lovely walking trails through the jungle. The rooms are comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here.

El servicio fue excelente. Personas muy amigables y amables. Aaron y Armando fueron espectaculares con nosotros. La habitación contaba con todas las comodidades.

La atención del personal en general fue excelente! El hotel está ubicado en una zona de clima tropical húmedo, por lo que el calor en cualquier época del año es alto y, el hotel debería tener aire acondicionado en las habitaciones, solo hay un ventilador de techo que en nuestro caso no generó en su nivel más alto, una buena cantidad de aire para mitigar la temperatura por la noche. (visitamos en época lluviosa, por lo que la humedad es mayor!). Las sillas cerca de la piscina están muy sucias, deberían dar un poco de mantenimiento. La iluminación de nuestra habitación era débil (fuimos con otra pareja, la habitación de ellos si tenía buena iluminación). El restaurante del hotel tiene un menú variado y de buen sabor. El desayuno excelente !!! (cerca del hotel no hay restaurantes, dado que se encuentra en un lugar poco alejado del centro de Turrialba (10 - 15 mins en vehículo aprox.)

Great staff and cool property grounds

Driving up driveway to property, this is stunning! A beautiful palm-tree lined drive that takes you up to a gorgeous manor surrounded by rich vegetation. The check in was easy with an English speaking person at the desk Parking was easy and close. When entering, the architecture was just as described with grand ceilings, inviting spaces with comfortable seating areas. There appeared to be no elevator and we took our bags to our second floor room up the stairs. The two queen bed room was nicely appointed with linens and the balcony beckoned with the birds chattering outside which could be heard through the screen door. Although shaded, the room was HOT - the large ceiling fan did not keep the room at a comfortable temperature. There was no AC. Many aspects of the room, particularly the door and the whole bathroom were VERY dated with cracked tiles, outdated fixtures and old paint. The doors looked dirty and very worn. Although the room was charming with high ceilings, these outdated and dirty features made the room less than luxurious. We were disappointed. Although the decor in the hotel was dated, the main hotel had a wonderful charm. The restaurant was welcoming with good food and good service. The pool and jacuzzi were welcoming but the pool bathrooms were outdated. We did not checkout the spa. There were bikes to use and there were a couple of trails on the gorgeous property. With updates in decor, room cleanliness and room AC, our rating would be higher.

Nice and charming in nice sourendings. Excellent food. Only one bad thing was that the waterpressure that did not prperly so we could not use the jacuzzi.

Nos encantó el lugar, la comida deliciosa y el servicio del personal sin queja alguna. Como oportunidades de mejora, el agua caliente en la ducha de la habitación y las almohadas. Además del mantenimiento de las áreas comunes como la piscina.

Nice place to stay

Definitely a place for the outdoorsy person, old country Lodge. Excellent for a quiet in the country feel. Bedrooms were amazingly large with large beds.
