Hotel Villa Acacia

Very outdated building, useless and outdated kitchen, bathroom very outdated

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The grounds were kept beautiful. They were cleaning and testing the pool early in morning. Room was a little outdated but fineckecleaning and testing

This was our second visit to this property. The small suites are absolutely perfect. The breakfast, and restaurant i general is good, though the dinner and lunch options are better. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, steps to the beachand close to restaurants. Highly recommend!

The hotel is a bit outdated but it has its charm and style. It's a complex with cabins and building with regular rooms. We got spacious, clean room with balcony. It's 5-minut walk from the beach. Breakfast was tasty and service attentive.

I booked a room for myself and they shoved me in a back dingy room with no real window, dingy lighting, black mold bathroom from the 70's, no balcony low lighting and safe didnt work and no pool towels. The place was empty but the wouldt upgrade me

We had a great vacation in Costa Rica and chose this hotel for our last night because it's near the Liberia airport. The photos online look MUCH nicer than what our room looked like. Our room's window looked into the hotel hallway. The beds were springy and old. The bathroom wall tiles had holes in them. It was not worth what we spent. We stayed at another hotel in Arenal that was amazing for not much more money per night. The only plus is that the staff was friendly.

There are no phones in the room, nor a number to call the front desk for emergency. Had an instance where I was being harassed by another guest and afraid to leave my room to get help. Eventually contacted the front desk and they did escort me to another room away from the other guest, but there was not a chain lock of the door. The next day the morning crew knew nothing about my incident. So no one was looking out for me. The area of the hotel is next to a camping hostel, but there were people sleeping on the beach and road. Overall the location didn't seem safe for solo traveler.

The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. On our checkout day we wanted to do a tour in Playa Coco and they held our bags for a few hours. The grounds were well kept. We had a little patio with rocking chairs that was comfortable to sit on while we made plans for the day. The hotel is a block from the beach and the walk is easy. Very close to restaurants and a small market if you need anything. The included breakfast was fresh and tasty. The room itself was a little dated, but it was clean and comfortable. The AC worked well. I'd stay here again if we were in the area.

The location was great, a block from the beach and close to a convenience stores. I breakfast included was a great bonus and we enjoyed the pool. The grounds are very nice.

its A very nice, with beautiful grounds, hotel. Somewhat dated in decor but clean and well maintained. The included breakfast was very good. It is on a Main Street so there was some road noise but overall quiet.

All the staff at this property were so nice and friendly, I will not say names because I am afraid to leave a name out. We loved every one of them, recessionist, restaurant girls, gardener, and daily service personal. It’s very clean, and the room was comfortable. I found it to be very typical for the area, yes it’s dated in regards to the fixtures and furniture but it was clean, and the ac worked great. I’d stay here again.

Disappointed in my stay. The grounds were beautiful. The room, not so much. Good space. The bed and pillows were hard. Only one power outlet and that was next to the refrigerator. No outlet near the bed or in the bathroom. Lighting in the bathroom was dim. Shower temperature was cool. No adjustment. My room was never cleaned during my trip. I booked the double bed non-smoking room. I left a day early. Location was near the beach. Easy walk. Now I know the the reservation was non-refundable.

Property is very quiet and in need of updating. Rooms are smallish. Staff is very kind and attentive to requests.
