AMAZING PLACE, Amazing location, Roger was great!

We had an incredible stay at Vista de Olas in Mal Pais, which offers stunning views of the Pacific coastline. We were welcomed with warm hospitality by Roger, the owner, and his friendly staff. Roger made it a point to check in with us daily, ensuring that we had everything we needed and that we were enjoying our stay. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The infinity pool was undoubtedly a highlight of our stay. The views from the pool were breathtaking, especially during sunset. We loved relaxing there in the evenings. We also appreciated the hotel’s eco-friendly approach, primarily powered by solar energy.Overall, we had a fantastic stay at this eco-friendly hotel. The combination of stunning views, excellent service, and a commitment to sustainability made it a memorable experience.

Super Aussicht vom Pool. Einen perfekten Gastgeber mit Roger. Wir hatten eine recht große Villa und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Zum Strand runter kann man laufen oder mit dem Auto fahren. Der Strand ist super und zum surfen ist es wohl eins der besten Surfspots in Costa Rica.

View was amazing, the extra care to make us feel comfortable was really nice. Attention to cleanliness was so nice.

Beautiful property, spectacular view, above the hustle and bustle of beach towns yet very close and convenient to the amazing beaches in the area. The staff makes it even better.

Great quite place to stay. We were in a separate bungalow that had a view of the ocean. Very interesting design of the room. Shower was inside and outside the bungalow. And we also had a little deck with the table to sit and watch sunset. Pool area also serves as breakfast area is very nice. A little walk up the hill. But the view is stunning. Very quite and we found a family of monkeys living right outside the hotel. We stayed for 2 nights. Breakfast was very good. Cooked per order. And juice was super delicious and fresh.

The family running this villa was amazing to meet and deal with, they have you covered for anything you might like to do and you won’t meet better people anywhere.

Amazing. The owner Roger and his family have created a one of a kind, laid back, quality establishment that leaves you feeling taken care of and at home. A comfortable place where you can relax and do your thing. They arranged transportation for us, set up massages in our room, and took care of any question or concern we had. Roger's son's Swen and Michael own a local surf shop (Tico Brothers). We took multiple surf lessons with them and Anthony (their other instructor). Hands down, everyone at Vista De Olas, made our experience one of the best we've ever had. Our villa had an outdoor bathroom where we could watch hummingbirds, blue jays and hear the sounds of the ocean. Quiet and restful at night. The sunsets at the pool are a thing of wonder. As has been noted in previous reviews, the pool is open to the public from sunset until about 8 pm. We found this to be a really cool aspect because it provides a sense of community with locals and other travelers. You get to meet people from all over the world and locals who live in the area at the same time. All in all we had a great stay and will definitely be back again as soon as we can. - Jon and Melanie

I had the best time here. There are under 10 rooms here, and during the day the place is so quiet, and there is such a wonderful feel. The owner and manager is as nice and friendly as can be. And, the grounds are gorgeous. The staff is wonderful, and the atmosphere is heavenly

The view, the pool, the food, the room, it was all perfect.True luxury in total beauty. And, just far enough from the hustle and bustle of Santa Teresa.

Beautiful place to stay with my teenage daughter. We had a great time in the infinity pool, taking surf lessons and zip lining!!

Everything about this property is special. The host is so accommodating and knowledgeable. The views are so incredible. The property creates a unique relationship between the guest and so many great conversations and friendships. This is a property that is so hard to Leave!
