Bluesun Hotel Maestral

Beautifully designed modernist hotel from the 1960s, impeccably restored a few years back. Surrounded by groves of pine trees, a quick walk from a handful of perfect beaches. Nice, accommodating staff and good restaurant. Only down side was having to pay to use the better sun loungers at the beach club; a strange set up. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. But the room is located in a neighbouring building with windows to the parking lot and on the very same level. No balcony, but in that location that would not have been usable anyway. Room is clean. But shower tends to cause flooding and soap has been empty. Towels are of minor quality and seem to indicate approx. one million washings. Safe does not work. Parking is too small for hotel.

Parking was a bit tricky. Careful with the hotel names, there are three Bluesun hotels. Besides that the Maestral was amazing 👏

Allt var kanon bra, receptionen var utmärkt och hade svar på alla mina frågor och hjälpte oss på alla sätt och vis. En stor stjärna till Ante 🌟 Personalen i restaurangen var utmärkt. Den enda anmärkningen vi har är städningen av rummet, förra året var det mycket bättre städat.

The great: the location right by the beautiful beach, the service at the reception that were so helpful and kind, breakfast buffet was amazing with champagne, assorted gluten free and dairy free options, and a la carte options as well. The hotel es beautiful and so well designed. We wished we could have stayed longer. The pool and surrounding is amazing and beautiful. It has parking as well so it is very convenient. The good: dinner buffet had a variety of 3 main courses to choose. The bad: the beach club seemed from a different property, lack of personnel and the ones who were there were rude. Since it is a public beach it is so crowded.

Reception check in was fast and informative,parking could have been free. Room was ok with a kettle they could have put some free water bottles in the fridge for the room rates but the room floor was superb easier than a carpet to be cleaned, but if you ask for a make up room try wiping or moping the floor, not only collecting the garbage and folding the sheets. Sorry but the floor was still filled with hairs and dirt between the sink and bowl aswell as the for corners of the room. Breakfast was ok, but service was slow, the personal around the restaurant and bar should train more and be informative and it was only on our 4th morning a Waitress offered along with our latte order at breakfast if we wanted fresh squeezed juices. The idea of A la carte’ breakfast was good but minimized the portion a bit more so not many food would go to waste and they should instead make a station for water, juices,brewed coffe. Easier for costumers to get themselves. The whole hotel, pool and location was cozy, wonderful and superb. Would I stay again sure’ would I refer it to people of course, did I get the value for the money I paid for my stay not so sure yet as I’d have not yet experienced the other places in the neighborhood so I have nothing to compare it to yet’but wordly I’d say it could go down a few notch on the rates.. but BLUESUN is now on my radar aswell along with the other chains we use out in the world when we travel

Beautiful location and lovely hotel. Very modern and accessible. Nice pool area and dinning area. We stayed bed and breakfast and couldn’t fault it. Rooms were spacious and decorated well - it would have been good to have had somewhere to store cases but it wasn’t the end of the world as we had room to leave them on the floor. Breakfast had a good variety of options and a Isobel from 7-11. We had to check out early and were giving a breakfast box to take away. Lovely location within walking distant of many exceptional local restaurants- highly recommend heading into the town for dinner next to the marina.

Hôtel des années 60 renové dernièrement avec goût et luxe. Piscine et extérieur trés correct, spa et salle fitness. Juste un bÉmol au niveau du restaurant. Petit déjeuner extra. avions pris la formule petit déjeuner et diner. Il vaut mieux prendre à la carte plutôt que le menu qui est vraiment en dessous de la qualité de l établissement.. ( soupe chaude tous les soirs, plats inappropriés pour la saison et impossible d 'avoir une carafe d 'eau gratuite, la bouteille est facturée 4€.....) Le personnel ne maîtrise pas bien l 'anglais d où certaines confusions et erreurs. Emplacement vraiment idéal.

I liked everything actually

Overall great stay. Room had a safe. Inconvenient for those taking the city bus as it’s not walkable to/from bus stop, 5min taxi ride required costing 12-15EUR. Pool area closes early at 7pm. Breakfast was great. We lost our swimsuits overnight to the winds while trying to dry them on the balcony. It happens often, would have been nice to be notified. Could have been avoided if staff informed us.

Aircondition turn it self off 3 hours during night!!!! Omg

Distance to the beach is amazing, couple steps and you are there! New cabanas and beds are amazing, music is great very relaxing! Highly recommend! This is my second time coming to this hotel with family , very quiet and relaxing!

The hotel is newly refurbished and rooms are new. Excellent quality bedding, furniture and bathrooms. The staff, especially front of house staff are extremely helpful and kind. Good location.

This place is a paradise... staff, especially hotel manager Ana Medić and Ms Slađana from restaurant team, who were very kind and helpfull. Hotel is reconstructed with sensitivity and good taste the surrounding area is a beautiful pine forest with the best beaches in Croatia they have excellent corn bread and the whole breakfast on the terrace is pleasant ...thank you to everyone at the hotel for a great week

My wife and I stayed there 5 days, 18 - 22 July 2022. The hotel was freshly renovated and very clean. The rooms not so spacious but they are clean, bright and airy and have a good air conditioning system. The bathrom is also very nice, just what you need. The property is just few steps away from a beautiful beach. Check in process very fast and efficient. All staff including reception, bar, cleaning ladies are amazingly nice and helpfull. They have few young and unexperienced staff so we have delays and mix up in the restaurant sometimes. Obviosly they need more training and experience however they compensate it by being so frindly, accomodating, responsive and polite. I highly recomend this place.

Best hotel in Brela, no doubt. Have stayed in Soline/Maestral too, this one is of the highest standard. All was perfect, just 2 remarks: 1) Too small parking lot, unable to room all the cars; 2) Only one coffee machine at the breakfast, resulting in a line of 5-6 people to it, and a waiting time of up to 10 minutes to get just a cup of coffee. Otherwise a superb hotel, a superb service, incredibly helpful staff and best location imaginable. Much recommended.

Bardzo dobre śniadania, hotel kapitalnie położony , bardzo miła obsługa, prawie całość wymaga kapitalnego remontu ale patrząc na całość jest godny polecenia.
