We arrived 8pm, Shocking communication from owners, doesn’t reply to check in process despite making many attempts! We arrived at the room, no owner to meet, no email or communication to brief us on check in. The phone numbers on the booking never connected. Called over 25 plus times and no answer. It was only once another customer gave us an another number. The room are meant to be non smoking but room and corridors smelt of cigarettes!!! We ended up staying 4 night but no change of towels! Overall there are much better places and this place was poor. Rooms are clean but need work, some of the lights didn’t work. Manager of property just didn’t really care…..

I loved the location of this hotel and I generally like the self-service set-up, although I experienced the downside of it this time around. The value for money is indisputable, and important when everything else is expensive. I really liked the room, it had everything I needed (except 1 important thing), although a full size mirror and a fridge would have been great. It's important that guests realize that there are more than one Villa Olea. I didn't notice the link with the directions to this one, so I just entered Villa Olea into Google maps, found it, managed to get through 2 out of 3 lock boxes and than waited for almost 90 minutes before it turned out that I was in the wrong location. Partly myself to blame, but it would have been great if their service had answered the phone when I called. But ok, they called in the end and I was even happier with my correct location. That brings me to the 1 important thing that could have made my stay practically perfect. Toilet paper. I notified the service that there wasn't enough but a day and a half passed without this necessity appearing in my room. Of course I couldn't wait that long and went begging for a tp roll in a nearby liquor store (tp shops had closed). They charged me an exorbitant price, but when you gotta go, you gotta go, and then it's better to have tp. This traumatizing experience will not prevent me from booking there again. I will just bring my own tp.

They allowed us to check in early, which was really helpful. They gave us lots of good information to help us enjoy your vacation, including giving us a lot of good local information.

I absolutely loved this hotel. Just know up front that they have limited check-in hours so they'll contact you in advance so they can make sure they are staffed when you arrive. The hotel is situated inside of an apartment building but it's absolutely lovely. The rooms are comfortable and it has fantastic Air Conditioning if you need it. The best part about the hotel is its central location. You're a few minute walk from all the restaurants and historical sites. You are also only a 20 minute walk from some of the best beaches. I highly recommend staying here.

Very central

Lovely location in which could not be more central of Split. However be prepared for some noise until vers early hours of the morning.

Located right in the centre and a stones throw away from the promenade and marina. Lovely and very accommodating host. Clean and spacious room for 2 people. The only improvement would be a mini fridge and some more body wash and shampoo for 2 people. Will book again.

Musste stornieren und verpasste den Termin zur kostenfreien Stornierung um Stunden, bat Expedia zu helfen um Kulanz zu erhalten, z.B. einen Teilbetrag zu zahlen o.ä. - abgelehnt. Auf meine Antwort wann ich denn ankäme kam nur ein sehr kurzes „ so sind deren Bedingungen „. Niemals würde ich dort nochmal buchen

Enjoyed my stay. Room was spacious, modern and very comfortable bed. Location is excellent. Safe and close walk to all landmarks and establishments. Will stay here again.

Perfect for my one night trip to Split. It’s clean and easy to find. The reception was there at my scheduled arrival time to check me in and provide a few tips for the city

Skøn beliggenhed i den gamle bydel og meget tæt på alle seværdigheder. Uproblematisk indcheckning selv om vi kom senere end planlagt.

Super Lage

It was most comfortable. The hostess waited for us at night because our flight was delayed. iggt in the centre of split. Defo try Silk the restaurant downstairs. will stay there again!

The staff are amazing. The woman who check me in was super nice and answered all of my questions. The location is great, close to all the sites of Split.

Lite og veldig sentralt plassert hotell i Split. Nok plass på rommet, og også godt med plass på badet. Kort vei til gamlebyen og severdigheter det. Et stort antall restauranter, barer og kaffeer i umiddelbar nærhet. Også veldig gode shoppingmuligheter. Lite støy fra utsiden på tross av plassering. Kunne med fordel hatt et kjøleskap på rommet
