Nyhavn Apartments

Fikk mye mindre leilighet enn bestilt. Verten var sur, uhøffelig og til dels truende. Lovet å rette opp i at vi fikk en mindre leilighet, men vi verken så eller hørte mer fra han.

Die Lage ist senationell, die Wohnung eigentlich auch, aber die Ausstattung und vor allem die Sauberkeit sehr mangelhaft. Badezimmer und Kaffeemaschine total verkalkt; Geschirr/Besteck nicht sauber, Ofen wurde offensichtlich schon Jahre nicht gereinigt! Wir haben dort nicht gekocht - nicht einmal Kaffee gemacht - war einfach zu ecklig und wir sind nicht pingelig! Badewanne-rostige Spuren; Bettüberzug war klamm - wurde nicht richtig getrocknet - Bügeleisen kennt der Vermieter gar nicht - offensichtlich auch nur eine Garnitur vorhanden, die wird gewaschen und ohne bügeln und klamm einfach für den nächsten Gast überzogen! Nicht gerade einladend. Kein Geschirrtuch vorhanden; Spülbürste hat die besten Tage schon hinter sich; Sofa abgewohnt (fleckig); zwar herrlicher Balkon im Innenhof, aber leider Polster schmutzig/nass; kein Mülleimer, kein Recycling vor Ort möglich; kein Wohnungsschlüssel - angeblich hat der letzte Mieter diesen mitgenommen. Aus dieser Wohnung könnte man so viel machen, mit wenig Aufwand - die Lage und Aufteilung der Wohnung ist einfach voll genial! Kopenhagen ist eine Reise wert, aber Vorsicht vor Radfahrer - viele viel zu schnell unterwegs! Stadtführung mit dem Rad empfehlenswert!

We loved the apt because of its location-down the block from Nyhavn waterfront - and its size-very spacious. However, keep in mind, there is no A/C so the windows must remain open and with that being said-it is noisy in early morning because of trucks delivering to the restaurants. The apt. advertises a bar-but not as a public bar which opened the second night we were there. The conversations and laughter carried all the way up to our apt. Good thing we were exhausted and slept through it-just as a warning to light sleepers. Apt was clean, not the one we booked, but nice anyway. The terrace that was advertised was not useable - laundry hanging, and storage filled the area. The owner or manager of the building met us and let us in-gave us a quick tour as he had a prior engagement and promised to come back with bedding, towels and supplies. I had to call him the next morning for the towels, pillow cases and toilet paper, which he quickly brought and apologized. Although there were several misses, I would stay here again - I love Copenhagen ! +

Great location, but the apartment need a lot of maintenance

We did not have access to our email so we arrived and tried to call the phone number we had to get the key to the apartment. I couldn't get through. 10 minutes later I get a call from the number - extreme static noise and a man speaking loudly and persistently in Danish, I assume. We understood only a couple words and they were "not available". I asked if we would get a refund and I heard "certainly" but do not know yet if we were refunded our money. We ended up getting two rooms at AC Hotel Marriot by the airport which suited our needs well. Don't try to stay at this apartment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The location is great and is only 1/2 block from the canal. We had the 2 upstairs floors and the layout was awesome. Big rooms, nice kitchen, outdoor veranda. Stairs are the only access and the top floor is 5 stories up, so keep in mind if you need an elevator. This property had huge potential, but unfortunately it is not kept up at all. The place was filthy, and my wife and I had to clean everything before she felt comfortable. Dust and mold, dirty shower with clogged drain. Rust stains all over the bathtub (very gross looking), dirty toilets with a broken toilet seat. "Loss" the manager brought us only 2 towels the first night (knowing that there were 4 of us), and we never saw him the remaining 3 days we were there. This property has huge potential, and if they would invest a little time and money I would stay there again, but not in the current condition. If you like a clean room, you will not be happy here.

As per the instructions with my booking I telephoned the contact number in Copenhagen to check how I would receive the keys for the apartment and to make double sure there would be a cot-bed available for my 7 month old baby. ‘Larrs’ said he knew all about my arrival on Thursday 5th April, and was expecting us. Upon arrival at the apartment at 6pm we were informed a booking error with Expedia meant that the apartment was already occupied. Expedia were supposed to call us be did not. I was extremely angry that our booked apartment was not available, especially as I had spoken to Larrs 2 days before. Larrs informed me he had found another apartment for us to stay in, and while it met basic needs- ie beds, but not the standard of apartment we had booked. ‘Larrs’ said he would call us the following day - this never happened. He also said he would discuss a ‘discount’ given the experience we had had and the quality of the apartment we were now staying in. This never happened. We rang Larrs again on the Saturday. He was apologetic at first but then refused to discuss a refund. He kept wanting to discuss it at a ‘later time’, but when we said we wouldn’t be able to discuss it later as we would be at a wedding he eventually hung up on us and then refused to take our phonecalls. We have not had any reply to our letter of complaint. We have not received a refund. A very disappointing experience, both from the agent and Expedia.

Tres bien situé, permet de visiter Copenhague à pieds sans difficultés. Le responsable est très sympathique et arrangeant. 2 bémols : salle de bain petite en particulier la douche et pas de micro ondes.

Dirty linens, noise level was 10/10 with partying above and below until 7 am. No response from owner of the hotel/apartments. Advertised as a 5 bedroom but was only 2 bedroom. Old food in fridge, plaster peeling walls, windows missing from doors.

Advertised as 5 bedroom, actually only 2. Dirty linens (mascara and other stains we won't mention), limited supply. Noise level was 10 out 10 all night long until 6 am. Internet was spotty and at times none. Non-responsive staff. Would not suggest this hotel.

Fin leilighet men noe gammel. Badekaret var tett, doen trakk ikke alltid ned og håndklærne vi fikk var fuktige. Glass, tallerkner og andre kjøkkenredskaper var heller ikke rene.

Super séjour ! Pays et ville très agréables. Dommage que nous ayons perdu du temps à changer de logement après la 1ère nuit. Temps en moins pour effectuer une visite...

Det levede ikke op til det vi havde læst på hotels.com, der stod at der var bade artikler, dette fandtes ikke, der var heller ingen v, køkkenet var meget mangelfuldt og ikke rengjort, og vi havde regnet med en lejlighed med 3 soveværelser
