Very nice place. Not much to do other than red rocks and enjoying nature. Far from people and very green area.

Nixson and his mother are lovely. He took time to make sure I was comfortable, and kindly shared his knowledge of the plants in his garden with me Fridge, hot shower, comfy bed, nearby shops, atm, restaurants Some mozzies but there are nets so I slept great I went to Batibou beach nearby, about a 1hr walk, or 10 min drive. My jaw was on the floor 😍 I enjoyed my stay. Thank you

Despite keeping the property representative updated on flight delays, upon arrival, we were unable to contact them. As a result we were left stranded without accommodation on our 1st night. When we finally made contact the following morning, they were unconcerned that we had been left stranded due to their phone being switched off.

Really cute bungalow and private off road parking in back of main house (by the bungalow) a rarity in the area. My host was very nice and explained hoe everything worked to me. Really enjoyed having coffee on the large porch. Lovely little touches all over, such as hammock and mosquito netting. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed in the cottage for a week; it's so charming and has everything you need. Warm and welcoming hosts make you feel right at home. Highly recommend staying here if you are in Calibishie.

Nice little cottage, very clean and quiet. You can walk to Calibishie and the restaurants on the beach. Our host was friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time!

Had the pleasure of staying in their cabin. It was cozy and comfortable with everything you need. The host and his family are wonderful people. The airport pickup was smooth and easy. Nice restaurants and 2 grocery stores within walking distance. Tours are available.

Great place to stay in Calibishi. Perfect little cottage just off the main road. Host Nixon was very pleasant and helpful.

I was so happy staying in this little cottage in Calibishie! Such a lovely family. Young and his mom, Shelley, were very welcoming and kind. The cottage has everything you could possibly need for your stay (full kitchenette, fan, mosquito net). Bed was comfy. The town was so friendly, had good food and close to some amazing beaches! Great escape from the crowd of the main cities on the other side of the island.

The cabin was very nice. Small amount of parking space available.

The Mainroad suite is tucked away behind the main house so traffic noise isn't a problem. There is a large covered area with hammocks to laze any glimpse the wild surf over the road Really close to shops, eateries and bars. Well equipped kitchen but I'd ask for either an extra sheet or a bed cover in the event of it turning unexpectedly cooler in the night

Mainroad Suite and Calibishie is a little piece of heaven on the northeast side of Dominica. It is so very much different than the rest of the island. The accommodations are a perfect base for exploring the many sights and hikes. You come back to a very quiet and clean apartment; with a very nice welcoming family feel. There are private rooms with ensuite baths upstairs which share an adjoining common area and kitchen. I chose the newly constructed stand alone cottage. All rooms have the most comfortable bed I have slept in after traveling the Caribbean for the last three months! Nixon, your Host and his parents really invoke a feeling that you are part of the family. They have lived there all of their lives and demonstrate a deep love for sharing their heritage and island history. I did not have a car, but rather used their services for a local tour. Many places can be accessed using local transport and a good hike. There is a small but adequate grocery store very close by as well as locals selling fruit, vegetables, and local dishes alongside the roads. There are also three very surprising restaurants close by. My only reet was saying here longer than three days!
