Majestic Colonial Punta Cana - All Inclusive

The only thing is the swimming pools close to early!!

My family and I had an amazing time! Although it was small, there was entertainment throughout the day. Music by the pool, dancers, group fitness classes in the pool, party by the beach, bands and karaoke. The staff in the resort were also AMAZING! Extremely friendly and polite and made us feel very welcomed. The food was good as well. There were several restaurants to pick from but during our stay we mostly went to the buffets and the Japanese restaurant. I would definitely recommended and would consider coming back.

Great all inclusive. Staff at all levels were very friendly. Service at bars, poolside and restaurants was excellent. Buffets had a huge selection and food very fresh. Butler service had us spoiled and pampered. Edwin was great. Very nice stay.

We really enjoyed our stay — the hotel has a beautiful territory and offers a very diverse and delicious food selection. It was our second time visiting, and this time we came to celebrate our anniversary. We informed the hotel in advance about this special occasion and were hoping for at least a small gesture to mark the day. Unfortunately, nothing was arranged — not even a simple note or sign on our door, while we noticed that other guests were being congratulated for their anniversaries or birthdays. It was a bit disappointing, especially since we had shared this information ahead of time. We still had a pleasant stay, but for future special occasions, we might consider another hotel where such moments feel more appreciated.

We loved the pool and the beautiful beach. The restaurants were all great!

Great stay and would love to be with the whole family

Check in was fairly okay, the rooms of course wasn’t ready upon checking in. After getting to the rooms, we discovered roaches in every single room. We had 4 separate rooms. In my room, there was vomit on the bed skirt, upon asking the cleaner to change it she said no the sheets were clean and proceeded to just remove the dirty bed skirt. I had to call the front desk to get the sheets changed. After we went to dinner and came back the room was infested with roaches!! Crawling all over my babies bottles, our sheets, everywhere!! We called the front desk asking to speak to a manager in which we were told that there was no manager on site we had to wait till the following morning. That day we spoke with iness the assistant manager who tried her best with us, moving all 4 rooms to a different location. Unfortunately that night again there were more roaches. The next day we opted to meet with the manager Vanessa, she of course had the nastiest attitude ever and said there was nothing she could do that were in a tropical country and that’s what was expected. We of course had to pack up our entire family and move resorts at night and still were waiting on a refund from this hotel! I would never recommend this resort to anyone!!! It’s disgusting that you pay your money to be greeted with roaches. The attitude of that manager Vanessa needs to be put in check. She shouldn’t be dealing with people if that’s the manner she behaves in!! Do better majestic colonial!

Loved our stay here ar majestic colonial. Especially the service from Reyito and Charmin. God bless them!!! We loved them so much that we will be back just to be served and greeted by them. The food is amazing too. try to make the reservation at the hibachi restaurant, its the best one there. The breakfast at supreme is amazing too, plently of options even for gluten free people!!!Pools are clean and the private beach is amazing too. They have wonderful people who would come take your drinks order while you lay on the sunbed so please don’t forget to tip them, they really deserve it!!( Noone gets poor by giving)

Great hotel and very attentive service! The only drawback is because of how busy the beach is, you need to be up at the crack of down to secure shaded beach chairs. I believe the staff could more keenly enforce the “one hour” rule in that if folks are away from their chairs for too long the towels are cleared. Otherwise every restaurant, pool, bar and every employee was fantastic!

The staff were excellent, very energetic happy people. They were so welcoming. So many food options. Highly recommend.

I am writing to share my recent experience at the colonial which, unfortunately, did not meet my expectations. As an Expedia Goldmember VIP, I had high hopes for my stay, especially considering the exceptional service I received during my visit to the Mirage last year. However, my experience at colonial was quite the opposite. While we loved spending time at the beach and the pool, the overall experience was marred by several issues. The food quality was subpar, and we encountered rude staff members at the towel tables and the snack bar. This was quite disappointing, as we were looking forward to a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. Additionally, I did not receive any VIP service, which I had anticipated as an Expedia Goldmember VIP. This lack of attention to detail and service was a stark contrast to my previous experience at the Mirage and left me feeling very disappointed in my vacation. I hope you take this feedback into consideration and work towards improving the quality of service for future guests. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

There was plenty to do by the beach and every day and night there was activities

The front office staff should be more friendly. We found cockroaches in the public restroom, need some cleanliness and maintenance. Overall the experience was good.

It exceeded our expectations. Great food. Great staff. The whole resort was very well unkept. We will be going back!

Horrendous.. there were cockroaches and bed bugs on the property.. management found no solution or accommodation/ accountability for the unsafe environment
