BEAUTIFUL location, pool outside door, and ocean on other side of unit. Lots of restaurants walking distance, as well as the town. Great stay!

Had to unplug everything that took power, since we were charged for electricity and it was hard to communicate since no one spoke English They were good at cleaning the resort and security was everywhere so we felt safe

Apartment was clean, but dated, needed some improvements. Loved the pool and the beach area. Electricity for one week was almost a hundred, seems very high, knowing that we only ran A/Cs at night.

This is a great location with a picturesque pool. The small section of beach is perfect for the amount of visitors. The security guards are very helpful and friendly. Here are just a few things that I wish I’d known to make things a bit easier: 1) Although they say you will be charged if you request a cleaning, they do want to be notified if the room cleanliness is not perfect when you arrive. We needed to have floors swept better and the microwave cleaned to use it, so I wish I’d asked. 2) There are no cleaning products to wipe out dirty microwaves, if you want to do it yourself. There were also no garbage bags to be found and the front office doesn’t provide them. We were given one for each bathroom but none for the kitchen, yet you are asked to take garbage out daily. Luckily, I usually bring grocery bags with me for wet/dirty clothes. 3) When you first make a reservation, download WhatsApp. That is how every person communicates with you there. I emailed through Hotels.com 5 days before our stay but never received a response. 4) Uber isn’t allowed inside the airport, so you do have to take a taxi to Stanza Mare. They start out at $35, but there are so many drivers that one easily went down to $25. I then kept his number to schedule a return ride because taxis are hard to find there. But realize they are on island time and may show up 30 minutes late.

Our stay at the Stanza Mare was ok. The pool was the best part of the stay. The beach was not what we expected. Vendors galore as soon as you step on the sand. The beach area was not as nice as it looks in the photos. There was garbage and mountains of seaweed that were piled up. The biggest issue we had was the A/C in the main bedroom. It stopped working in the middle of the night after the 2nd day. They sent an HVAC team to fix it but it still did not work. The other big issue that we had was that the only spaces that had A/C were the bedrooms. The living area did not have A/C. We were lucky that it was April, and the temps only reached the mid 80's. If we were there during the summer, when the temps hit 90 we would have been miserable. As it was, we were sweating like crazy even though the room had a nice breeze. For that reason alone, I will not be returning to this place. The other thing that we did not like is that you have to pay for your own electricity. That was not made clear during the booking of my trip. I do have to say that Yaneiry, the property manager in the office, was super nice and tried her best to help us out with every question we had during our stay. Another thing, if you plan on staying at the Stanza Mare make sure to bring plenty of bug repellent. There were mosquitoes galore. All 5 of us were bitten to pieces during our stay. It was worse in the early morning and in the evening.

They have a private restaurant on the property which serves delicious food at an affordable price compared to restaurants outside of the property. The room was well decorated and looked great. The beach is not private; however, they have private umbrellas along the beachside which is monitored by security guards at all times, so your belongings are safe there.

Beautiful property and easy beach access. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby in walking distance.

This place was great , my wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Romeo and the staff were very welcoming and always very helpful with any questions we had. We will definitely recommend it.

This place was in general very dirty, it had cockroaches ,the tiles in the restroom was brocken ,I cut my foot in it. Just very terrible. I'm trying to find a way to get a refund back .

The apartment is in a complex of apartment with private beachfront access, basically was 2 minutes walking to the shops and restaurants. I like that it was very secured and guarded and I felt very safe there. The guy at the reception was very nice and helpful.
