Eco Nubia is a magical place. The staff is super friendly and always making sure you have everything you need. Muhammed is the sweetest Nubian I’ve met. He made sure I had transportation from and to the airport (even if it was at 2am). The hotel also arranged the tours to Luxor and Abu Simbel. The food is amazing, and when my tour was earlier in the morning, they were sure to prepare a to go breakfast. The rooms were always clean, with an amazing friendly staff. No AC but it did not bother me at all. They also placed a bug spray in the room for me to use, so no bugs bothered me either. This was my first but for sure not the last time I visited the hotel. The views were gorgeous. Thank you so much for being kind, respectful and always providing the best experience possible.

Love this place. But. There is no AC. I didn’t realize that. It’s not the properties fault. But it was hot. Like 95° and not pleasant for me. The staff and manager are excellent. Communication was stellar. A great location too!

This is a nubian ecolodge, so if you decide to go for it you must have very clear what does it mean: no fridge, no air conditioning but fans, a lot of walking, spartan rooms with no wifi etc. However, this is exactly what you would expect from a place like that. So it meets the expectations just brilliantly. The place is located on an island, right in front of the Philae temple. This gives a surreal, romantic and fantastic scenario. Really recommended. The little boat ride offers a great view of the Philae temple. Quite a bonus. The restaurant offers all types of food, so it's a great option also for dining with a great view of the Philae temple.

We had two nights at this lodge everything was beyond our expectations. Authentic Nubian food, excellent coffee, mint tea, fresh squeezed orange juice, wonderful & relaxing boat rides, nice staff. We had a wonder visit to Abu Simbel, the car & driver was organized by lodge, the price was reasonable. It was very pleasant two days in Aswan.

Excellent. Eco friendly. A true Nubian experience. Professional friendly staff. Delicious wide-choice breakfast included. Every lunch and dinner was divine. View directly to Philae Temple. QUIET, PEACEFUL. Slept like a log in comfy bed. Friendly playful cats. Arranged transport from train to hotel by car and boat.4 nights just weren't enough.

I cannot imagine a more spectacular view of the Temple of Phillae and the beautiful authenticity of the Eco Nubia Ecolodge. We stayed as a family in a double and a quadruple. We all loved the feel of the Ecolodge and the staff was kind, and so very effective. We pre-ordered dinner and it was delicious! We loved the tagine and other options. It was magical to take the boat to the Ecolodge, and then they made arrangements for our 4:30am departure with a porter who lugged down 10 suitcases and put them in the boat. Not only was the porter prompt, but he lugged our stuff down the hill with a smile. As we made our way down to the boat, a gentleman gave us each a breakfast box!!! And off we went, as the sun rose, under a full moon to our waiting taxi! All taken care of!! I do think it is important though, the if you have any challenges with walking up unsteady stairs, without railing, you would do better looking to stay in a more traditional setting.

One of the best place on earth, such a magical place and the view of the Isis temple., great food, rooms is comfortable, super friendly staff members., that is not my first time and not the last . Happy to be back

It’s very good place to detach yourself from the world and relax. Beautiful weather in End of February and beautiful scenery around. Middle of the Nile. Good spot for swimming and enjoying the view of Feali temple and Nubian houses. Friendly staff, clean simple houses, in local Nubian style Negative points poor internet connection and Wi-Fi. Not accessible and only way to reach is the boots that can be cost accumulating. Not a fancy restaurant but good for the price.

I had the pleasure to stay at this beautiful lodge. The staff is super friendly and their main goal is to smooth out your stay. The room was clean and had a nice mixed Nubian/modern vibe. Despite not having an AC in the room, it always felt nice and cozy. The landscape was amazing, My room was straight up on the nile and the restaurant overlooking the philae temple. The food at Solaih restaurant was good, i tried multiple dishes, none I disliked. I loved the idea of self sustaining environmental friendly lodge. I tried the hibiscus they plant in the island and it was 👌. Overall great experience and i would definitely come back ❤️

Fantastisk oplevelse. Vi havde kun én overnatning, men vi nåede at nyde solnedgangen fra hotellets øverste punkt, samt spise aftensmad og morgenmad på hotellets restaurant. Det var behageligt at sove der i slutningen af december (der er tæpper på værelset, hvis det blev køligt), men jeg ville ikke bo på samme værelse i de varme måneder, da der ikke var ac. Der er myggenet over sengen og insektspray til benyttelse.

This place is a real gem! The location is very beautiful opposite of the temple. The personnel is also very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is superb! And also lunch and dinner is very good. They have their own veggie garden en also there is a small beach with recliners and towels. From there you can have a swim in the Nile! Altogether a really relaxed and beautiful option when you want to be at a special location in Aswan.

Amazing property, all staff so friendly and kind, it’s a really special place to be one of the kind, and that sacred place has so much history. Next time I will stay much longer , and can’t wait to be back

Super relaxed , chilled, peaceful resort with incredible views and front row seat for the light show at Philae Temple . The staff are lovely, friendly and laidback but attentive. Food is delicious ! Would definitely recommend for a 1 or 2 night stay or even just a meal with a view .

Eco-Nubia is a brand-new yet earthy acommodation situated in an old, genuine Nubian village. It's quiet, beautiful, and very natural--the hotel grows much of its own produce in gardens and brings up chickens, goats, and sheep. They are starting a lotus pool as well. The rooms themselves are simultaneously earthy and comfortable, not to mention aesthetically pleasing and spacious. (This happened to be my favorite bathroom experience in egypt because showering doesn't turn the bathroom into a puddle.) The hotel has a nice restaurant with a perfect view of Philae Temple, and because it owns the entire island, you are free to explore the whole place to discover more incredible views. Staff are friendly and many speak English; they seem to live on the island and really care for it! Fyi, the island has many mosquitos, the most I've seen in Egypt, but the hotel provides you complimentary bug spray and mosquito nets over your bed. It also has no wifi, but if you have data there is no problem.
