Karnak Hotel Luxor

La zona es muy buena, esta en el centro y a pie del metro. El primer dia no tuve agua caliente, pero lo arreglaro. El desayuno es muy egipcio, la porcion es buena. Lo unico malo es que encontre dos pequeñas cucarachas en la habitacion.

Les falta mantenimiento al hotel, pero por el precio que cobran esta bien, solo que debería tener agua caliente.

Un gros problème de propreté dans cet établissement, le personnel essaie de faire au mieux en fonction des possibilités de chacun, hélas, très mauvaise gestion de cet hôtel. Petit déjeuner pas frais, aucune possibilité de se connecter sur internet pour réserver un taxi ou une activité.

This is such a lovely place to stay, it is quite basic but has brilliant spacious rooms. The food is amazing with great service and all the staff can not do enough for you, they are all amazing. So helpful and accommodating. I wish we had longer to stay there. Would definitely come back and stay again. Thank you

Well booked trough Expedia. The hotel location is TOTALLY WRONG!!! You end up local residential area. NO HOTEL THERE!!! Don't trust Expedia map trust google map!!! If I knew this location then I wouldn't book this hotel. There was no good Restaurants at all. Very limited dinning options. Problem with shower, had warm water at the first night but not hot water just lukewarm water at the second night. The bathroom is terribly done. The bathtub was dirty. No toilet paper first. You need to ask for it. The staff were helpful but I would not recommend staying this hotel.

For African and Egyptian standards, it's quite good. They provide two sheets, which is something rare in Egypt. You can have dinner there at a low price—although they don’t prepare it themselves, you can arrange a time, and they will buy a meal from a nearby place. We paid 250 EGP per plate, which included rice with meat, chicken, and salad (around $5 today). One very important issue that caused us trouble is that the address listed here and on other websites is incorrect. I ended up in a neighbourhood in the middle of nowhere, where I also met someone else looking for the hotel. It's crucial that they update the address because someone arriving at night could have a really bad experience. I had to ask a local who knew the hotel, as every place I checked was wrong—even the police gave me incorrect directions. I ended up walking all over Luxor for three hours to find the hotel. Luckily, I know my way around and wasn’t afraid, but an average tourist would likely get scared and have a very unpleasant experience. The cleanliness is not the best, but it wasn’t terrible either. There were some stains, and a stored pillow had red lipstick on it, but compared to other hotels I’ve stayed at, this one is not bad and offers good value for its price. The water isn’t super hot, just warm, but it’s enough for a shower. The breakfast is average, but the coffee is terrible—definitely don’t order it.

My room faced the street, which stays pretty noisy until 12am or so. Wasn’t disgustingly dirty, but definitely not clean. The bed seemed like the cleanest thing in the room. There was only hot water in the morning. For the money, definitely not worth it, hostel would be better value.

Expedia should not list this property as a hotel. It was filthy. No hot water, no clean water. Can you imagine, for free breakfast they provide 2 dates, few carrot, cucumber and Tomato pieces. They charge for the coffee as it is not included in the breakfast only 1 cup of tea. I will not suggest anyone to even think of booking this property.

An unenjoyable stay at this hotel. Room was ok, but not clean. Had issues with mosquitos all over the hotel especially in my room. When showingthe staff the bites all over my face and body, they gave a me a plug in refill with hardly anything in. The bath smelt disgusting and there was no hot water, having to request on a daily basis for this to be turned on. STAY AWAY FROM MOSTAFA ANWER, HE IS A THIEF, ABSOLUTELY RIPS YOU OFF FOR EVERY PENNY YOU HAVE OVERCHARGING FOR TRIPS AND TRANSPORT TO AND FROM THE HOTEL, A TRULY HORRIBLE PERSON PART OF THE HOTEL STAFF.

Easy walkable location close to the temple and easy to find transport. The staff were lovely and accommodating. The lift was convenient and the pool looked good. Dated hotel but has what you need for a short stay On the downside it was cold very cold we were offered blankets but we could not put them on the tiled floors. Hot water sometimes, fridge didn't work in our room. Smoking everywhere. Best to avoid the coffee byo.

I stayed there as compromise on my previous booking. In general hotels in Luxor are not good I recommend going only with branded hotels. local hotel is just wanting to make money without quality service.

Son ciertos los comentarios que la chapa de la puerta de la habitación no sirve, solo la acomodan. Y a mi hermano no le salió agua caliente. Ojo: la ubicación en expedia no es correcta. Mejor buscarlo en Google Maps, yo llegue a un lote baldío en Luxor por seguir la ubicación de expedia Mi reservación en el sistema del hotel estaba mal, pero no hubo problema y lo solucionaron rápaido. Comparado con otros lugares en el país, el servicio al cliente es excelente.
