Bathroom needs counters & towel racks. No surface to put down things. Needs a shower door. Everything gets wet. No hair dryer. No elevators. We are in our 70’s and had to climb 10 flights of stairs to get to our room. All room numbers in all floors begin with 5 and it’s hard to say where you are.

We stayed five nights at the family-run Taj Pyramids View Inn. It's simple, but the service is incredibly warm and friendly. Every request was fulfilled immediately and without any fuss. We booked two tours through the hotel, which went absolutely smoothly. Even special requests, like simply needing a driver to go somewhere and then being picked up, were organized at short notice and were simply fantastic. The view from the rooftop terrace is amazing, and breakfast is freshly prepared every day at our preferred time. We felt completely comfortable and well cared for because the people here are just so wonderful and do everything they can to ensure their guests' well-being. The general noise level of Giza takes some getting used to, as the area is incredibly busy. The traffic is quite loud if you want a room with a balcony and a view towards the pyramids. The location is right on one of the main access roads to the tourist centers. This is certainly true for all the hotels in the area. We would definitely book here again because the price/performance ratio and, above all, the way the tour was conducted were absolutely convincing. Thank you for the experience. The hotel is great and the staff is super helpful.

The staff are on helpful insofar as they press you into affiliated business and charge you exorbitant prices. They run scams with friends of there’s where all the money you spend at shops, rides, hotel, it’s all part of the same group. I was lied to about what rides using a driver they are affiliated with would cost. And even if I wasn’t lied to, they charged $30 per ride (they had informed me $30 as a package of rides but did an about face and tried charging $30 for each when checking out). I left the hotel two days before my booking ended to spend the rest of my trip elsewhere. Originally, they refused to refund me the days when I ended the booking. They refused this to me as well as Expedia support. Eventually, the owner did refund me. There was no hot water in my room for days as well and despite having multiple people check the heater thermometer and confirming I did not have any, the manager repeatedly told me, as well as Expedia support, that I was a liar just trying to get additional refunds. I will never stay here again when I return to Egypt. Lastly, the same manager threatened to call “the government” on me when he refused refunds and called me a liar. It took two Egyptian, Arabic speaking friends of mine to come and assist me to receive my refunds and confirm check out.

Our stay at Taj was exceptional. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and just what we needed for a good nights rest after a long day of activities. A highlight of this hotel is the rooftop with phenomenal views of the pyramids. Eating breakfast every morning with views of the Pyramids was amazing. Taj set up our pick up from the airport which was smooth and easy. Once we arrived the owner of the hotel helped us arrange all of our tours for the week. All we had to do was enjoy our time in Egypt. I would definitely stay here again!

Great Staff, bed bugs, the sheets and towels were old and of poor quality. NO ELEVATOR. We requested clean towels and wet towels were delivered. The staff is nice but thats it.

Waking up in Cairo after a late arrival, and seeing the Pyramids from our room, and the rooftop restaurant was amazing! Staff were very helpful and friendly!!

family run hotel with great sevice.Nadar and his staff did a great job in organizing trips for us and were very flexible. the airport pick up was just great and worked out very well. we spent 4 nights and will repeat again in the future. A highle recommended place despite some small short . comings. CONGRATULATIONS

Staff friendliness

The staff was absolutely amazing. Whatever i needed they were there to get it for me. I would defiantly stay here again. Nader was the best.

The airpot transfer was very good, slight hic-cup due to delays getting through the airport The area the hotel is in is fairly noisy. Breakfast was very good and served on the roof terrace vith views of the pyramids. Staff were very good and helpful. Room was very good and spacious though a couple of very small niggles such as the light switches near the bed didn't work but no issue. Room had aircon which was a must. though nothing to do with the hotel getting through the airport is slow, ensure you have filled in a landing card as the my airline didn't tell you that. The bottom line is that the accomodation is very cheap but good value, with excellant staff

I everyone was very welcoming treating you like family going extra lengths to make your stay comfortable and we were very glad to choose this place instead of a bigger hotel in Cairo. They even organized a cozy cake cutting for our anniversary on rooftop with pyramids on the backdrop. Family owned business with all cousins collectively taking care of the guests. I would recommend this place strongly

I stayed for 5 days, mainly for the Anyma concert and sightseeing. The hotel was just perfect for my needs, amazing rooftop views of the Great Pyramids, the included local breakfast was really nice, staff very helpful and friendly. Every tour knew the location for pick-up / drop-off. Hotel is also minutes drive to a lovely restaurant (Egy Gate). Thanks to the staff for showing me the Egyptian hospitality.

Delicioso desayuno, excelente servicio, el chofer nos recibió en el aeropuerto y nos espero por un buen rato, la atención de lujo, habitación limpia y bonita, vista spectacular a las piramides

The roof top views were wonderful. The staff were extremely helpful and tentative and the beds were comfortable. It was fun to watch the traffic below, camels and horses going by. Bring earplugs.

The staff here was wonderful. For a less expensive option, good choice. The rooms are not as up to date as if you spend more elsewhere, but the location is easy and the roof top view is very good. Good choice if you want to spend less.

We’ve made a mistake booking this hotel, but the hotel stuff is friendly and they do their best with what they have. We found a very cheap rate and we didn’t make much research we just saw there was a great view of the pyramids and thought it’s convenient location. But as an Expedía customer much disappointed.
