To avoid disappointment please read this review. The hotel is a budget hotel neat the pyramids. That being said the staff are all very friendly and cannot do enough to help. The rooms are clean and ones we stayed in had working air conditioning. The Expedia description of this hotel is incorrect in that: 1) There is no lounge/bar (you can order soft drinks at reception) 2) There is no coffee shop/cafe (you can order coffee at reception) 3) There is no restaurant (You can order food at reception) 4) The only common areas are reception and the roof terrace (See photos of the hotel) 5) There is no ATM 6) There is no garden (We didn't find one anyway) 7) WiFi works, sometimes. 8) TV did not work in the rooms we stayed in. The roof terrace has a good view of the pyramids and garden furniture. Eating is done on the roof terrace, as is everything else. As it gets dark quickly some time around 18:00 and with the sun set temperatures drop as well, food will go cold very quickly. It is also quite windy in the evenings so cans of drink and water bottles will blow off tables etc. The hotel is on a noisy busy road which will stay busy well into the early hours, so be prepared for noisy nights. I am not trying to do a hatchet job job here, but the Expedia description of this hotel paints a very different picture that what it actually is. For a budget short stay hotel near the pyramids it is fine with the advantage of having extremely friendly and helpful staff.

The staff was very courteous and very kind all the time. They went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was delightful. A special thanks for Mido, the owner for his hospitality and kindness. He was great!

The staff was nice, but the bathroom was not clean and not suitable, the phone did not work, the water heater did not work properly, the refrigerator did not cool, there was no lift

Personal aufmerksam und sehr hilfsbereit. Zimmerstandard 2-3 Sterne. Sehr laut, da unmittelbar an einer Durchgangsstraße.

This was the most magical experience I could ever hope for. And the team at Taj were the most genuine and friendly people I have met. They definitely made the trip special. The roof terrace and all round service was phenomenal I will definitely be returning here ✌

We had a fantastic stay in Taj really enjoyed very close to Pyramids

The room at this place is clean and the front desk is friendly. Breakfast is great. A free water bottle has been provided. Good to have a microwave and small refrigerator in a room. Have stayed 5 nights. Drs . Syed & Emolyn Hussaini.

Rooms had some signs of wear and tear, but were kept clean and tidy. Daily inquiries if I wanted my rooom clleaned. As the hotel lies along a quite busy street AND traffic in Egypt is VERY noisy, some noise in the rooms facing the street is unavoidable (I was prepared with ear-plugs, and that worked fine with me). I must commend the friendly an service-minded staff. They went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. I will also reccomend the trips arranged by the hotel. I had a very knowledgable and nice guide ("Hime") and competent driver(s). They made me feel as safe one can be in the traffic maelstrom of Cairo(!) I had a great stay and can reccomend the hotel to anyone looking fra a nice and safe base for adventures in the Cairo /Giza area.

Excellent customer service! A family-owned business. Medo, the owner, and Vader, his cousin, are very helpful and attentive to our needs. They treated us like family during our 10-day stay. Highly recommended!

Excellent service and staff! They are very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The welcoming dinner was delicious. Breakfast was great, fresh and great amount of food! The room was specious and with a nice view to the pyramids. 100% recommended!

Yes foods were fresh but getting a cup of coffee was erratic.

Bathroom needs counters & towel racks. No surface to put down things. Needs a shower door. Everything gets wet. No hair dryer. No elevators. We are in our 70’s and had to climb 10 flights of stairs to get to our room. All room numbers in all floors begin with 5 and it’s hard to say where you are.

We stayed five nights at the family-run Taj Pyramids View Inn. It's simple, but the service is incredibly warm and friendly. Every request was fulfilled immediately and without any fuss. We booked two tours through the hotel, which went absolutely smoothly. Even special requests, like simply needing a driver to go somewhere and then being picked up, were organized at short notice and were simply fantastic. The view from the rooftop terrace is amazing, and breakfast is freshly prepared every day at our preferred time. We felt completely comfortable and well cared for because the people here are just so wonderful and do everything they can to ensure their guests' well-being. The general noise level of Giza takes some getting used to, as the area is incredibly busy. The traffic is quite loud if you want a room with a balcony and a view towards the pyramids. The location is right on one of the main access roads to the tourist centers. This is certainly true for all the hotels in the area. We would definitely book here again because the price/performance ratio and, above all, the way the tour was conducted were absolutely convincing. Thank you for the experience.
