This property is absolutely amazing and the staff are truly 5 star.

This is a quality hotel in the modern sense. The staff are friendly in a non-Victorian manner. They’re friendly and make you feel welcome. This hotel is a regular spot for my wife and I when we go to London. The better rooms have Japanese toilets, which is always fun…. The hotel is very earthy and neutral, it has a grounding vibe. We got a good deal, 50% off through hotels.com so it was a no brainer this time. It’s well insulated from noise, unlike other hotels in the area. Give it a go.

It was a very pleasant stay.

This was my first visit to 1 Hotel Mayfair and I give it my highest recommendation. The hotel is beautifully designed and in perfect condition. My room had every amenity and was very comfortable. The staff in every part of the hotel is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The restaurant is excellent and the bar has great atmosphere in the evening. I travel a lot so I stay in a lot of hotels. This is definitely one of my favorites and I will be back.

Love this property - stayed a few times here and love the area; the staff are terrific and the hotel and rooms are perfect. They do great things with the spaces so it’s plenty of room for what you need. Mayfair is a perfect location for shopping; eating; etc.

Hotellet var alldeles för dålig standard för att vara i denna prisklass. Frukost som inte ingick i pris var smaklös och fantasilös ”tråkig”. Middagen som vi beställde upp till rummet en dag, var det sämsta jag fått i form av nivån och kostnaden. McDonald's har mer finess. Utan alkohol kostade maten 100£/person. Maten som kom upp kändes som att någon ville oss illa. Det var inte bara dåligt utan katastrof dåligt. Kändes lite konstigt när hotellet går ut med att ha en 2-stjärnig Michelin kock i huset. När vi anlände ville hotellet ha 600£ till som reservation, vilket känns aningen kryddigt när vistelsen är tre nätter. Generellt läggs det alltid på serviceavgift på samt någon annan skatt som inte först nämns, så på alla kostnader du lägger lades det på ca. 16-20% vilket kan bli rätt mycket när två pocherade ägg till frukost kostade 160kr + 20%. Rummet hade två blommor och dessa var visna. TV’n hackade och slutade till och med funka en kväll. Internet var segt och var ett klassiskt ”gästnät” vilket gav alla som anslöt access att se alla andra som var anslutna på detta nätverk. Servicen var bra, med snabb och trevlig personal. Hade hotellet varit fyrstjärnigt och kostat en tredjedel av summan hade det känts helt ok, men eftersom det såldes in med höga förväntningar och tre gånger dyrare på allt än vad andra femstjärniga hotell hade sänkte det definitivt känslan och upplevelsen.

Perfect stay!!

Our stay was excellent. It’s the perfect hotel to adjust from the states to the European lifestyle. The room was extra spacious. The staff were able to let us check in early which was so kind. The bathroom was top notch and extremely clean. Housekeeping does an excellent job in the entire room. Turn down service every night. The room provides filtered water which is great! My only suggestion would be offer bottles of spring water for guest in the room bar that our weird about water like me. I hope hotel 1 opens more locations throughout Europe would have loved to stay in one in Paris too! Hotel 1 never disappoints.

We visited as a family around Thanksgiving time, we chose One hotel for location and for being a newer hotel. Great staff, it seemed like they know your name starting from doorman and ending to concierge, very attentive and open to help as much as they can. Clean and quirky. Rooms on the smaller side, even though we didn’t have the basic room. Not many restaurants in the hotel, but a lot of great places to eat in walking distance. Great great location.

Would not recommend on the basis of service, cost or quality.

The style and modernistic design of this property is a real change from the normal, stuffy hotel designs that are in the area. This place uses natural stone, wood and earthy tones to create a relaxing environment. The welcome desk is made from an old oak tree that fell in a storm, it’s stunning. The restaurant served good quality food, I’m not sure how it was worthy of 2 Michelin stars but tasted nice. The service was a struggle, lots of inexperienced staff, but the location and effort being made by the team covered the lack of training/experience among them. This really is a good hotel, better value than others around.
