The check in was smooth, the room was clean, comfortable and had sufficient luggage storage, wardrobe space. The bathroom was very clean, with fresh towels, and the room warm and cosy. Bed and linen were excellent! Thank you for an enjoyable stay. The room also offered high quality shower and wash products.

It's very much a wysiwyg place. The room was on the smallish side. Bathroom was small and simple. Breakfast was continental with few options. On the other hand, it was very clean, and the value is unbeatable if you intend to see Oxford on a budget, and you don't mind walking a bit (2 km) through a very nice neighbourhood to the city centre. Would stay again.

Very happy with the accommodation

The room was comfortable and well equipped but the whole place was a little dirty around the edges and could use a good cleaning. The breakfast was basic but adequate. Loved the UK-themed salt and pepper shakers on each table!

Okay for a short trip. Close to Oxford City. Good bus service.

Bed linens were clean but room wasn't. Location is not as close to central Oxford as I hoped. Basic breakfast was toast, cereal and fruit. No lift.

I liked that it was a big room and very spacious for me to spread out. My only complaint was that breakfast was limited to a one hour window from 8-9am. I was unable to have breakfast due to the limited window and my trip plans not being able to work around it.

Stayed for two nights on a motorcycle trip. Adams guest house is very conveniently situated for Oxford city centre and easily accessible from the ring road. It is on a main road but was very quiet at night. There are plenty of shops and places to eat within a short walk. There is parking for two cars at the front. The room was clean and comfortable although the decor is looking a bit tired, but that doesn't detract from a comfortable experience. I only eat flakes for breakfast but there was plenty of choice of cereals, breads, fruits, yoghurt etc for breakfast and the coffee was good. Manager and staff were very pleasant and accommodating. Definitely would stay again if coming to Oxford

Fuyez ! Nous étions dans la chambre 6. Décevant sur toute la ligne. C'est le résultat quand on veut faire du fric et que du fric. Ca coute un bras pour dormir dans ce trou. Travaux fait avec 2 mains gauches sans aucune finesse. Isolation sonore inexistante, on entend très bien les voisins. Sans parler du reste. Moquette mal découpée voir déchirée. Finitions digne d'un abris de jardin (le mien est mieux fini). Salle de bain, comment dire, une horreur réalisée dans un espace correspondant à 2 cabines téléphoniques. La taille de la chambre tellement petite que le lit est collé au mur sur le coté droit. Literie d'un autre siècle. Petit déjeuner 1er prix sans extravagance. Manager dénué de savoir faire hôtelier.

You get exactly what you paid for. Everything was okay. NO PARKING on the guest house. You may park on the side street for 3 hours during the day and overnight after 20:00 until 11:00. Tired looking room, bathroom door didn’t close properly, basic breakfast. However they provided everything you needed - towels, shampoo, soap, hair dryer, kettle, tea, etc. The area was safe and quiet, buses very close to the guest house, which was convenient.

Host was very helpful and quickly sorted out a problem we had. Well situated for visiting the University and City Centre.by public transport or on foot.

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist gut und zentral. Wir hatten das Familienzimmer im Dachgeschoss. Das Bad ist mit 1,5 qm nur äußerst klein. Die Wärmeregulierung in der Dusche ist ein Glücksspiel. Die „Badezimmertür“ ist Marke Eigenbau. Man kann sie nur in einem ganz bestimmten Winkel mit Mühe verschieben. Schließen ist nahezu unmöglich und leise geht es erst recht nicht. Das Frühstück besteht lediglich aus Kaffee, Teewasser (schmeckt mach Chlor), ein bisschen frisches Obst, Früchtejoghurt, Toast und Müsli. Jegliche Form von Käse oder Salami als Belag fehlt komplett. Eine echte Enttäuschung, aber zum Glück ist fussläufig ein Supermarkt, um sich selbst zu versorgen.

This is a budget offering, so that has to be borne in mind. I had the single room which is up in the roof space. It was very hot (weather 32+ degrees), and they'd provided a small electric fan. However, the built-in blind in the velux is broken, so pinged up and sunlight poured in! Overall, it was fine for a stopover. I felt safe here. The parking spaces were taken, so they kindly offered me a parking permit. Easy win would be to fix the peg in shower room that requires a screw. It was clean and comfortable. I didn't stop for brekkie, so can't comment on that. It's run by a friendly, communicative staff team. I'd stay again as I know exactly what I'm getting.

Convenient transport to and from property, with some dining options nearby. The property is quite old though and could use a touch up.

A little bit tired looking. Water pressure in the shower wasn't great and it took some time to get hot water. Some shops and coffee shops nearby and bus to more central part of Oxford.

The room was pretty small and dusty. The shower drain wasn’t working. There was a window in the ceiling through which a lot of noise and cold air would come through. There was no elevator. The host was responsive when I contacted him about my late arrival though.

Letar du efter lyxigaste stället i stan? Letar du efter ett nybygge med kaklade badrum och identiska rum? Ja, då får du leta vidare. Men om du letar efter ett prisvärt och gemytligt ställe så ska du helt klart bo här. Ja, det finns skavanker på stället, men vi hade en fin vistelse här. Som krydda på moset är personalen/ägarna väldigt trevliga och tillmötesgående.

The stay was okay. There is parking available and it is on the bus route. The room was clean but the rug is a tripping hazard and a crack on the wardrobe which was covered with masking tape. Not a good look.
