Apartments on the Park

In a really good location overlooking the park. Really good for self service cooking and walking clothes.

Anna (manager) was very helpful and always contactable via text messaging. The 1st room I was given did not look anything like the one shown on the website so I was disappointed, but I was moved to the one I had booked the next day. It was inconvenient but I was happy to move. So be careful, some rooms do not look like the ones shown on the website, and I would prefer it if every room was shown on the website and the one without light (the window is next to a wall) should be cheaper. The place was very clean and that was great. The TV channels were slow to switch (flicking channels was slow) but the WiFi was good enough. However, one issue is that on the website I read that the rooms were 'soundproofed' but this is not the case. So, if the person next to you is quiet then you can enjoy staying even in a super tiny room (and the single rooms are super tiny, almost impossibly small) with a nice view of the park (not all rooms have a view on the park, some are by the main road). But if the next door person is noisy then it's very difficult. The last 2 days of my stays a very noisy couple moved next to me and it was impossibile to do anything. I could hear every single word and it was very unsettling. They were loud, granted, but if the rooms were soundproofed as stated I would not have heard it. All in all, if you get the right room with decent 'next-door' guests, you can enjoy staying here (close to the station, a 24-hr gym and a discount supermarket).

I stayed for 7 nights in late March. The location is very close to a large supermarket and about 10 minutes walk from bus and train stations. The manager Anna, was outstanding in her efforts to make me feel comfortable and responded immediately to almost all of my needs. The negative side was that I got a room which was VERY poorly thought of for functionality. Obviously, the ownership was trying to use any space possible to create another room to rent...mistake! The bathroom design was horrendous. Anyone who is adult would find trouble washing their face and using the toilet. You cannot sit straight at the toilet to do your business and you cannot avoid spilling water from the basin when washing or shaving...both due to very poor function design. I have lived in Japan, so I am used to compact and small rooms...but this was beyond that! The good news is, this seems to be the only bad room in the facilities. So, just be aware, when you order the studio size apartment, you may get that room if it is the last one available. Anna gave me another room as soon as one opened (for my last 3 nights) and did her best to make things right...so SHE gets 5 stars for effort!!! I would recommend this location for the simple fact that it is in a convenient location AND the price is very good, considering prices for other places in western London.
