Staff were polite. The toilet was very difficult to flush. There was a constant noise of a boiler or something behind the wall coming on throughout the night. Breakfast Friday was good. On Saturday there seemed to be a shortage of items for the breakfast. The pool was nice. Location was good.

Stayed for 2 nights room not cleaned no fresh towels tea/coffee satchels not replaced. Hotel had no atmosphere. It was hard to tell who were staff as they had no unique uniform. We didn’t eat or drink in the hotel as there are some excellent pubs and restaurants around the town. I found this hotel to be expensive for what they offer and watch out for the nightly car parking charge.

The woman at check in was absolutely wonderful! The room was not. The mattress was horrible. The sheets were stained. The bathroom door lock had been changed but not finished. The shower curtain was moldy. The shower was moldy. Just not good.

The hotel is in a convenient location although a bit run down. Additionally, I specifically requested twice prior to arrival to not have a room on the ground floor that would also be quiet and was put instead on arrival, in a ground floor room with a view of the car park. Needless to say, it was very noisy due to the cars and proximity to the main road. The reception staff told me the hotel was fully booked and did not apologize for the mishap, ensuring me the room would be quiet, which is it was most definitely not.

As a 3 star hotel the roomswere not clean towel were changed after 3 days the food menu was very sparse meals over priced Noise frlm the lift. I would think twice before staying again. Nice litte town but lots of coffee shops and and second hand shops

The hotel is OK as long as you get the right room. There are a few rooms that have a plumbing issue with sewer smells and room 108 is next to some sort of generator that intermittently comes on and off next to the headboard. Not very noisy but noticeable and not constant so does interrupt your quality of sleep. Staff are lovely and friendly, the breakfast is ok, nothing special but is ok. Hotel itself is clean but a little frayed around the edges. 3rd time I’ve stayed. 2 rooms good, 1 room not good. Colleagues had the sewer smells in their rooms.

The upstairs was so dark that it was difficult to open the bedroom door. The bed was very hard. At 6am the bin men and other workmen ensured you were awake. the parking charge each day was £7.50 I wouldn't stay there again

Beds were comfortable. A wake was taking place in the dining area so we were offered a soulless function room to eat dinner, which we refused and went out to eat. Breakfast was good.
