Best Western Plus Milford Hotel

Room spotless very comfortable lovely underfloor heating in accessible bathroom

No electricity

Stacy was good. Adding Variety in English breakfast could have been better.

When we arrived at the hotel there was a power cut. We were unable to check in and we were unable to access our room and we were told that the very earliest we could expect the power to return was 8:00 p.m. this was 4 hours after our arrival time. We were unable to use the room. We had a special dinner in Leeds that we had to be prepared for and we were planning to use the room to have a relaxed start to our evening. We were left. No choice but to book a more expensive room last minute at a hotel close by. I have contacted the Best Western and Expedia for a refund and this has been declined on three occasions. I find it absolutely ludicrous that the product I purchased was not able to be used and I wasn't able to have a full refund. To compound my disappointment, when I initially contacted Best Western, they simply told me that when Expedia reached out to them, they would process a full refund. However this has been declined on two occasions according to their refund policy. I feel let down by both Expedia and Best Western on this matter. I do not feel both companies have my interests at heart both as a consumer and as a valued customer.

Quick check-in despite arriving late. Large room & bathroom fine, both very clean.

The staff were great, I couldn't fault them, what I did disagree with is the parking charge to park in your carpark, you are at the side of a motorway and there is now where else to park. The cost of breakfast is very expensive. The tV in our room was broken. There are no plug sockets at the side of the beds either.

Disappointing to arrive just after midnight to find I had to pay £6 to park until 8:30 the following morning. Bedrooms are very dated and covered in dust. The ceilings in the room also look like they could come down any moment, with cracks and stains all over the place.

Staff were excellent - personable and efficient. Nice room - good size and decor. Facilities were fine but we didn’t use all of them. The disappointing factors were being charged to park at the hotel - couldn’t find this in the hotel booking! - and no one had cleaned the fridge - someone’s food left overs in a plastic tub!

No tea no milk no sugar the room was very clean and confortable

The rooms were comfortable and very clean. Lovely to have a fridge in yhe room. Staff were very helpful & friendly. A lovely one night stay whilst attending a wedding party. £5 parking fee, not excessive but no mention about this when booking. Might as well just add £5 to the room rate and not have those unsightly signs everywhere.

Lovely staff nice clean room good breakfast Paid for parking on arriving 23:00 left after check out 10:15 2 weeks later I’ve received a pay overstay fine for £100 Private company control parking and fees 😳

Checked in only to find out that the restuarant was not open so had to go out and get dinner. On the website parking is quoted as £5. Not able to pay this on reception so forced to use a QR and total cost including text and service charge was £6.39. Whilst it won't break the bank it is the principal of false advertising.

No food

Told on arrival no food tonight no one in to cook it really not happy after arriving at 8pm and have to order on just eat
