I was revisiting the area which i was raised there in the 1960s so it was memorable to me and the location was brilliant id reebook it in future visits

Ideal spot for business and evening walk

I thought the buildings grounds parking staff and breakfast were all excellent , my room 35 was a little smaller than I'm used to but was clean and functional. Overall I would return. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Our second time staying here and explored more of Cookham, went for some great walks and visited some lovely nearby attractions. The rooms are small, but big enough.

Hotel provided a small cosy room with usual facilities including a wonderful walk in shower. Hotel in lovely setting and quaint village.

Room to small and the bed ok for one person,the bed was so close to the wall you had about 18 inches from the bed and the bathroom,the bathroom was large and very clean as was the bedroom

We had to leave as the room was so filthy.

Beautiful property

I came in very late, after 10pm, and check-out was 10am, so a rush to get out. The room was a bit tight, and no aircon, so it was hot. There was a small table fan that was noisy. I did love the breakfast with a lot of variety.

Room is tiny. About 1 foot from end of bed to wall. Shower barely worked, and no hand held hose so you have to wash your hair whether you like it or not. Water barely trickled out so it took half an hour to wash soap off. Kept going from scolding hot to stone cold. Literally a traumatic shower. Lastly room was like a sauna with no aircon and a broken fan. It got so uncomfortable I had to stand in the car park to cool down. Breakfast was great. Parking is great. Shame they can't spend a bit of money and make the rooms liveable

Good space for parking and all facilities good breakfast in he morning definitely would go again

Took over an hour to check in, receptionist was clueless, rude and unprofessional, the rest of the stay was very good excellent breakfast and a good night’s sleep

A pleasant surprise to find a nice hotel at an affordable price close to amenities

Not a standard hotel as this is accommodation at a conference venue. Exactly what I needed since I was working nearby. Plenty of parking, staff great, rooms had everything albeit a touch on the small side. Very hot due to weather but the room has a fan which made it bearable. I would recommend this place and not hesitate to use this again.

So reception is miles from the rooms, there is no air conditioning, and there was 9 inches of space at the bottom of the bed. breakfast is at 7am, so if you need to travel no real point
