Väldigt god mat och mysig pub. Rummet var stort och bekvämt med fina vyer. Personalen var mycket trevlig och servicen mycket god. 5/5 som betyg!

Lovely hotel, the room was very clean and lovely. Staff were polite and no problem with baggage storage, they also allowed us to check in early as the room was ready. We stayed in a standard double and there was plenty of room, I liked the uniqueness of the room shape and the space was used well

Location good, great breakfast, room ok, staff took a long time to get the heating working in the room, despite being asked several times, it was not until our second night that the heating started working although they did bring a heater to the room.

Very nice room in a great location. The old pub was stunning when decorated for christmas. The location is very central with good access to busses and subway. Nice breakfast and service too. Some issues with the elevator and lot’s of stairs so maybe not great for elderly.

This was a great Hotel, Reception staff were very friendly & helpful 👍***** The Hotel room and the bathroom were very clean, tea, coffee and complimentary water was well appreciated after a long journey.

Our room was not cleaned on arrival. Opened and used items in the bathroom and floor not hoovered. Dust on borh side tables was thick enough to write my name in. Breakfast was not bad, service totally indifferent, great location, room ok other thsn cleanliness. Not quiet at night and loads of narrow /steep stairs with a lift that was frequently in use or stuck on a floor.

This hotel was a gem and the staff very helpful

Das Personal ist durchgehend sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Bar ist außergewöhnlich und bietet ein tolles Ambiente. Wer gerne mal verschiedene Biere ausprobieren möchte ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Unser Zimmer war angenehm groß mit ordentlichem Kingsize-Bett. Das Bad überzeugt mit einer ordentlichen Dusche und genügend Platz. Die Lage im Financial Distrikt überzeugt durch die Ruhe am Abend und die prima Lage zum Erkunden der Stadt (sowohl zu Fuß als auch mit der tube, Station Bankstreet fast vor der Tür). Wir waren sehr zufrieden und würden wieder dort wohnen.

Cosy room and lovely atmosphere

The room was clean and comfortable with everything you could wish for, the staff were very friendly and attentive. We had a free upgrade for my husbands birthday and 10% off of the bar bill. Whats not to like!

Lovely little hotel in a great area right in the city, room was a good size & bed was comfy, breakfast in the attached pub was cooked fresh & plenty of choice. Staff very friendly & helpful. Would recommend this hotel for a short break in London.

Lovely room! Nothing but wonderful things to say about the room itself, everything was clean and comfortable, with a coffee machine and robes. The only ding is not their fault at all, but of the 5 nights I stayed, two nights I experienced crazy noise at all hours of the night, recycling trucks, construction, I don't even know but it was LOUD. The pub downstairs can also get pretty loud (the people, that is). Breakfast down there is lovely however. Overall a wonderful stay! Be sure you know that the door to the pub is NOT the same door as to the Inn, I had no idea and was in a panic when I arrived and the pub doors were shut!

Separate entrance on the side of the pub. Lift to 2nd floor to reception where we were greeting by a member of staff (all friendly) and given directions to our room which was nicely furnished with modern fittings. The bed was soft and extremely comfortable. The bathroom was well fitted out with a nice shower although the room was sorely lacking any kind of air filter which meant that any smells could tend to linger. Housekeeping was generally outstanding. The main gripe we had was with the breakfast which seemed perfunctory in its choice and poor in execution. The bacon and sausage was really poor quality and had obviously been hanging around for a while in the kitchen. The black pudding was rock hard, although the scrambled eggs were good. There was little choice otherwise. The coffee in an urn was cold and insipid. Having a mediocre extra choice of coffee cost an extra £3+ Good choice of teas. I’d suggest leaving the in-house breakfast and going to McDonalds. This is a shame as we generally enjoyed our stay. Its location is good for public transport being close to Bank, Monument and Bank tubes. It took us 30mins to travel to Trafalgar Square and 10mins to London Bridge. Would definitely return, just not for the breakfast.
