Fernhurst Lodge by Greene King Inns

The room was very dirty and needed a lot fixing,,,

The Fenhurst is a good place to stay, value for money. Large comfortable rooms. Pub with food next door which hotel provides menu for.

Only problem was not enough plug sockets but we managed

Our stay at the hotel was ok. The rooms are in need of maintenance and modernisation, however for a one night stay it was adequate.

Unsafe no Nightshift security thru the early hours. . Drunks loud and noisy Young couple big fight in room crashing and thumping til 4am . Refund required and requested.

horrendous, full of mould, bathroom not clean. when fire alarm went off no one answered the phone and pub next door where advised to report it to, no one was there doors was locked. when someone came they just silenced it and said it was ok with no checks followed out. had to clean the room before i could sleep staff i saw was ok but left at 9pm and no one there before check out to talk to about the issue

The manager on duty was amazing, he was a very busy guy doing check ins and working the bar amongst other things. Give that man a pay rise😀

Just ok needs revamp

We needed to be able to check in an hour earlier than stated as we had to get changed and travel to a wedding. The staff were very helpful and allowed us . Result , we didn't have to get changed in the toilets at the venue and made it on time suited and booted 😂

This is the worst accommodation I have stayed at, the room was awful beds where dirty and they was not safe and I’ve hurt myself

The staff were very helpful, the food was excellent. The condition of the premises was a bit tired but clean and tidy. The food was delicious and there was lots of choices to suit every taste bud.

Only thing wrong the bed could have been bigger, more 3 quarter than a double

Overall it was a good place to stay, the beds were comfortable, and the shower had good consistent hot water and good water pressure. The sports pub next door did have the outdoor t.v. On quite loud until late at night, but it didn’t disturb us much. The room was definitely worth what they charge.

On arriving at reception, kids and anti social behaviour hanging around, not hotels fault but they were messing around with a supermarket trolley on the car park. The female member of staff belittled the man on reception numerous times which made us feel uncomfortable and genuinely no need. Very tired interior throughout. The walls on the staircase had splatter of some description like something had been thrown. Room 24. On entering the room greeted with disheveled curtain and light shade. Mouldy bathroom with dirt/mouldy grout and sealant. Mouldy ceiling. The toilet seat didn’t fit the toilet and moved. Even though the bedsheets were clean, they had previous stains, dread to think about what’s underneath them, with how the rest of the place is. Sorry to say I won’t back

Easy accessable property good range of food choices at reasonable prices good friendly service

I always book the Fernhurst for my football trips and it never disappoints, I had dinner in the restaurant and that was delicious, I will be back
