Room was clean, spacious and nicely furnished, modern but in keeping with the age and style of the building. Breakfast was fantastic, with a really nice menu to choose from.
All the staff we met were super friendly and helpful.
Great location for visiting Soutsea and surrounding area.
Would definitely recommend paying the extra for a parking bay at the front of the hotel as street parking could be tricky.
We stayed to visit family in Southsea and will definitely use this hotel again!

Really nice old house converted into a good hotel. Spacious room, quiet, great breakfast, easy parking. Our arrival was delayed for 5 hours due to Brittany Ferries/bad weather but hotel kept in touch with us and waited on a Sunday evening for our arrival (arrived 22.30!). Will stay again.

Staff were very pleasant . Breakfast offering was very good with attentive service. Unfortunately the additional bed in the room was extremely uncomfortable. It needs to be thrown away, Shame.

Lovely staff. Was disappointed with the breakfast choice. Our menu only had cooked breakfasts. When I asked if they had porridge etc, I was told they did (wasn’t in the menu). However I could have stood my spoon up in the porridge because it was so thick and chewy. It also had lots of honey on it, which I hadn’t asked for. This made it too sweet. Also, we had no hot water for one evening and the next morning. Overall a nice hotel and a good location.

This is a very nice hotel the room was a good size and well presented, the bed was very comfy.
The staff were very good, friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner was excellent, a good range and very tasty.
The availability of free on street parking is a big bonus.
We will stop here again in the future

The hotel is in a good location, close to the beach as well as restaurants. Parking is a nightmare if you wish for a free on-street parking permit though yo can upgrade to a reserved space for extra. The room was nice, if a little basic and the bathroom had no blinds or shutters on windows that can be looked through from the apartment block across the way. Staff were really friendly also. I had a good night's sleep and breakfast in the morning was in a lovely setting and was cooked perfectly.

Our second stay in this group of Boutique Hotels, and we were given a complimentary upgrade which was amazing!. The group of hotels have a small number of rooms, which makes them ideal for a quiet stay and the rooms are lovely and comfy. We had breakfast included which was nice and as part of their chain there is a local pub just up the road to have a meal in, should you choose. We had Sunday dinner there was lovely. The staff are all friendly and welcoming and helpful, overall 5 stars all day long and this will be out go to hotel chain in Southsea. A great find. Tip do book your parking though as the streets are narrow and not much street parking, so worth having the piece of mind you have a car park space ready for you
