The staff were very friendly and always helpful. The location for the city centre was perfect and all facilities were clean and in good order. We had an enjoyable stay and would recommend this hotel

The staff was very friendly on arrival and had us checked in within minutes. Our room was very clean and spacious. We had a twin room. One of the bed bases was broken but this was changed the same day as reported. The room was cleaned daily. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Coffee/tea was replaced daily and cups cleaned.

Spotless, the room was excellent toiletries were of a high quality, really impressed.

A great hotel close to the theatres.

Cleanliness kept to a good standard. Staff in reception, breakfast bar and cleaners very helpful. Good choice of food for breakfast, full English and continental, pastries were good, nice coffee machines. Accessible parking and with voucher code from the hotel keeps it at an affordable price. Overall good experience, nothing to complain about.

Excellent spot, right in the city centre, actually finding it for parking quite tricky. Would stay again.

The room was lovely and spacious

The hotel is in a great central location. Rooms have been recently refurbished and are spacious and modern. Breakfast was great. Only issue is the inconsiderate behaviour of other guests being very loud late at night in the corridors. It’s obviously a regular problem as there was a sign in the lift about it. Obviously not the hotels fault but I would advise to take ear plugs!

Literally used it as a bed for the night and a shower! Not in the hotel much, only stayed one night. However, it was lovely. Very clean, staff friendly and helpful, easy to check in and out. Good location, parked at the train station and walked from there. Did not have breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment on that. Would recommend, and stay there again.Thank you.

ideal location, room very nice for the price and quiet

The hotel was fine other than the fact that the earliest check-in time is 1500 and we arrived at 1520 but our room wasn't ready. This isn't acceptable when you have plans to meet up with people. Check out is at 11am so there is plenty of time to prepare rooms for new arrivals. There are two lifts but they both don't seem to work all the time. As this hotel was recently re-branded I would expect issues such as these to be dealt with before reopening. The rooms were clean and a decent size and one of the ladies at the breakfast buffet was particularly friendly & helpful.

Excellent breakfast, staff where friendly and welcoming, hotel was clean and comfortable.

Two minute walk to Theatre Royal, five minutes to town centre. Hotel has been refurbished to a high standard, only small thing to add, no extractor fan in bathroom everything gets soaked.
