Odd night noisy last night fire engine turned up not sure why and not greatest location or fast food outlets

This place isn’t 5 star but it’s affordable it’s in a great location iv stayed here a few times the staff are friendly rooms basic but nice clean and fresh shower is hot and powerful I would choose this hotel over any travel lodge premiere inn and I will definitely be back soon

Meant to be premium room. Disgusting bathroom, filthy mattress over, wobbly mis-matched furniture. Room was stuff even with window open.

Great stay at the hotel. Super-helpful reception and a good-sized room with all amenities there.

Value for money, good amenities parking, local shops. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially Blessing. The hotel was clean, warm and well presented.

Good: Clean room, comfortable room and friendly staff. Parking on-site. Bad: Wobbly furniture with no backs and no knobs on drawers, no security doors inside the hotel, light switches by the bed did not work. Lift was not working reliably.

Basic hotel very outdated and not the cleanest but did the job for a nights stay. Staff were helpful and welcoming

Reception was excellent really looked after me as my car had broken down. Nice place to stay bed was comfortable. Location good.

*Shocking condition and even worse parking scam - avoid at all costs!! I stayed at the go2 Orchard Gloucester Hotel on 9 January 2026 as an emergency stay because nothing else was available. I deeply regret it. The hotel condition was appalling: · The television was held together with celotape · The paintwork looked like it had been done by amateurs - patchy and poorly finished · Everything felt temporary and unprofessional · Honestly, it was the worst condition I have ever seen in a UK hotel. I was embarrassed to be there But worse than the condition was what happened next: I paid £8.00 for my stay and entered my registration at reception, as required. Weeks later, I received a Parking Charge Notice from Civil Enforcement Ltd claiming I had not paid. I immediately contacted the hotel. Staff told me on 19 January they had "applied regarding the parking ticket" and that it was "under process." I trusted them. During February, Civil Enforcement's own website showed "PCN not found" when I tried to view the ticket. I have dated screenshots proving this. But after the 28-day appeal window expired, the ticket suddenly reappeared. I can no longer appeal. The hotel has the power to cancel this immediately. They are the landowner. Instead, they have made excuses and failed to act. Verdict: A rundown hotel that doesn't care about its guests and uses a predatory parking company to harass them after they've already paid. Avoid at all costs.

The hotel and room where so dirty and falling apart we where unable to stay the night. I have never seen such an unclean hotel with broken furniture all over the place. I did feel sorry for the staff running it as they generally tried very hard. There was also a discrepancy over the cost of parking and a £20 charge for a dog, of which it doesn’t state when booking, this I feel is as outrageous.

The bathroom smelt bad of urine rooms were dirty but beds was clean It’s was extremely cheap so we don’t expect too much
