The room was small and very basic, also quite well worn. The price was suspiciously cheap when I booked it as a central London hotel and my concerns were realised. But it was clean and I slept and I showered, so it only gets a disappointing...

Excellent location,Clean, helpful staff BUT beds uncomfortable, heating impossible to regulate without opening window, no razor socket in bathroom, breakfast poor (awful coffee, roll and croissant with jam). disappointed for this price point

They did not have a reservation for me I had no where to stay

We got rooms on the basement floor with fixed window that cannot be opened.it causes the Room to have bad smells. There is no curtain so sun enters the Room very early in the morning. There is a wooden floor up so you can hear every step ftom upper room and it is very annoying.

1人旅でしたので、シングルの部屋に泊まりました。こじんまりしていて清潔感があり窓の外にはレンガの建物と中庭が見えました。 中庭と言っても椅子とテーブルがいくつか置いてあるだけですが、サマータイムのロンドンは外の空気がキモチ良いのでコーヒーを飲みながら過ごすのもオススメです。 わたしは英語が話せませんが スタッフの方たちは笑顔で挨拶してくれますし 出かける時なども特に声をかける必要もないので とても気楽でした。 ホテルから徒歩10分圏内に地下鉄の駅も何駅かありとても便利ですし、スーパーも大英博物館も徒歩で行けます。 古い建物で高級ではないですが ロンドンのアパートに住んでいるような キモチになれます。

The hotel was in a good location and very clean. The staff was very nice and quick to check in. The only complaint is that the wifi did not work in my room.

Great location, super close to the public transportation, restaurants and bars. The staff was helpful. Breakfast was good. The room was pretty small but clean, unfortunately there was a weird smell coming from the drain.

Gower House was very clean and the staff was very pleasant. The single room was cozy, perhaps too cozy given the ten by seven foot room. leaving little space to keep luggage, and no closet or drawer space to put anything away. The location is great, very close to transportation. My room was in the back which was very quiet.

Second time we have stayed here. Terrific little hotel. Clean, well-located and very friendly and helpful staff. Recommended.

An old property that could do with a bit of TLC. The basement room we were allocated is the smallest Hotel bedroom I've ever stayed in & quite claustrophobic luckily we only booked for 2 nights as the traffic noise is constant making it impossible to sleep. The Airport shuttle they profess to operate is a £70 Taxi ride at the Customers expense.

DON'T CHOSE IT IF YOU'RE PLANNING A BUSSINESS TRIP. They didn't give me any kind of receipt, bill or invoice during the check out, and when I told them that I need it in order to get a reimbursement from my company, they told me that they would send it to me via e-mail... I'm still waiting and I really need it, but they don't even answer to my mails!! In addition the water in the shower was extremely hot and I couldn't regulate it. I was kind of happy when I arrived because it is a nice place and people in the reception is usually very kind, but it is the first time that a Hotel does not want to give me an invoice and I'll probably have to pay myself! Thi is not serious and I'm not planning to use expedia anymore...

This small hotel is in a great location on Gower St. It is close to the British Museum and surrounded by Colleges and medical facilities. It is a safe area. The room was small, which was to be expected. The manager on duty was really pleasant. I would recommend this hotel

The property was near to our theatres the staff very very friendly.snacks and drinks in room to purchase were of good choice and price.Continental breakfast was good choice as well very well priced hotel and worth the visit.

The property is in a good location but isn't too loud or busy. It's small with adequate facilities and the staff were all very friendly and helpful.
