Greystoke House

Just brilliant, the owners are brilliant and the property was modest and comfortable. I don’t judge on cost but if I did I would say that the Room rates were reasonable. This combination is so hard to find in 2025

Great service even sent me text message saying I could book in earlier than the 2pm time, great breakfast & super clean rooms and easy walking distance into Keswick, dog friendly too

The stay was lovely, the hosts could not have been more welcoming and we eager to give help to guests with local knowledge of the area. Will definitely return in the future the next time I am in the Lakes.

Had a very delightful stay at Greystoke House and would most certainly recommend! Very clean and spacious room, well decorated and great amenities. Quick walk into town with lots of options for food, drink, and entertainment. Short 30 mins drive to Buttermere for fantastic hiking. Thanks for a perfect stay!

Had a great stay at Greystoke house in the single room for a few days. Check-in was easy and modern, you don't need to be there at a certain time, just self check-in when you arrive if you like. They even messaged me before to tell me the room was ready before the allotted time which was nice. The single room was big enough and clean, and includes a wash basin. There is a seperate designated bathroom for you to use downstairs so you don't have to share. Plenty of towels were provided, plus body wash, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion if you so wish to use it. Breakfast had a good variety, I could see they were trying to be inclusive of many dietary options, however I just had the cooked breakfast which was excellent, and you can pre-order stating exactly what you want. There is also good free Wifi and its in a nice central location in Keswick only a short walk from the main square. Overall very happy with my stay at Greystoke house and would definitely stay again.

Had issues with checkin process but all sorted out and in the end a great stay. Super comfy beds, amazing breakfast & host will be back again in the future

Grateful to the Greystoke for stepping in at the last minute after a previous booking elsewhere was cancelled. A quiet location but close enough for walking into the town. No problems booking in or during the 3 days stay. Beware of the big breakfasts - you may not want to move afterwards - but they set you up nicely for the day of exploring the area. A great view from the street on a crisp sunny day.

An amazing place to stay in Keswick. Amenities were of very good quality and as expected, room was cosy but very quiet and comfortable. It is a double bed. Check in via mobile was very easy and instructions clear and easy. A great place to walk around the town. Many thanks

In 8 weeks of travelling Europe, Ireland & UK this was our worst experience. Unfriendly host. Although we booked B&B, because we had not prebooked our breakfast, this became an issue and breakfast had to be specially prepared. We were told we were sent an email telling us to preorder - we were travelling and do not check emails every day. We asked for Strawberry jam and were told it was for sale! later host relented and gave us free jam. Tiny room, uncomfortable bed. We were not expecting hotel accommodation, but having stayed in guest houses & B&B's many times, this was a disappointing experience. Not recommended.

Great location, 5 minute slow walk into Keswick centre. Beautifully decorated and clean B&B with really friendly owners. Loads of choice at breakfast with a really easy online order form. We had a self check in during our stay due to the owners having a family emergency but this was incredibly easy and hassle free. Bed was comfy if not a little bouncy which did impact my sleep everyime my partner rolled over. The ensuite shower was lovely and hot and powerful. Would definitely recommended this B&B to others and will definitely stay here again next time we visit Keswick.

Really enjoyable stay, good room and excellent location walking into the town. Plenty of free parking around the area and dog friendly and a lovely breakfast provided by Jonathan & Emma.

I have stayed in many B&Bs but rarely seen one as well organised and equipped as this one. Immaculately clean and vast amounts of info including daily weather reports on display. Small but a perfect gem. Lovely family run place.
