Basic hotel which was what we expected. But must say walls are paperthin. Clean and breakfast was ok

Been here a few times the staff is very helpful when I ask him I need a room downstairs they’re willing to do that for me thank you very much

During the last leg of our vacation, we stayed at a hotel in Cambridge for one night. Having previously experienced a range of accommodations, including an Airbnb in Cambridge, an apartment hotel, and a large hotel in London, this particular hotel stood out as a pleasant surprise, especially considering it was not as pricey as the others. The bed was notably comfortable, and the breakfast provided was a highlight of our stay. We were treated to a proper English breakfast, which was quite wonderful. The bathroom and shower were both clean and of a good size. The hotel also had effective air conditioning, although we didn't need it much as the weather was mild. The staff were quite friendly, which was particularly reassuring given some warnings from locals about potential unfriendly encounters due to the changing political climate. However, we found the staff to be very kind and they treated my son with exceptional sweetness and respect – a factor that always makes a big difference to me. I would recommend this hotel, especially to other foreign-looking travelers, for a comfortable and welcoming experience.

Clean and quiet. Typical buffet breakfast. Note that it is not close to any of the Cambridge sightseeing activities.

Cambridge is a fantastic destination and our trip was great. The hotel is a long walk from the centre, but you can’t really drive into the city centre and walking for 30 mins is as good as any other way to get there. The hotel was clean and quiet and the breakfast was the best English breakfast you could except to get. We really enjoyed our stay.

Nice stay for one night, but felt too isolated from everything and from public transportation as well. It was clean and nice personnel. The 10 minute wooded walkway to get to businesses or buses made me uneasy if I were to walk it alone at night.

I have celiac and what was offered on the menu the chef and staff gave different information on the menu :( nowhere open on the Sunday evening I was glad of cereal the next morning as I had to go without evening meal.

Actually clean like no other

Very comfortable hotel that serves nice food Although a little way out of city centre has an excellent bys link.

Carpet very very dirty, looks like someone throw up and never get cleaned up properly. GPS hard to locate location. Use its web site driving location hard to get there neither.

Quick and easy check in, clean comfy room, tasty breakfast

Large party of young school kids in the hotel - didn’t get any sleep with children knocking on doors all night and shouting in the corridors- which then started again early in the morning. Was told I would get a refund but this didn’t come through to me and is stuck I think with Expedia who I booked through. I would recommend holiday inn based on their policy to allow large school bookings

Room was good as were the staff. Sorry to say the food we had was not the best - steak pie - pastry was very hard, lasagna-was very salty & a little too sweet for my taste. Also would be better if the plates were warm, that also applies to the plates at breakfast
