Holiday Inn LONDON - GATWICK AIRPORT by IHG, an IHG Hotel

It was well located for our needs. Hoppa shuttle was easy & convenient.

We liked the convenience, rooms more than adequate for the price, Gatwick Hoppa very convenient. The breakfast was very good with lots of cooked and cold choices. Hot food was only like warm.

Great place to stay close to Gatwick Airport. Easy access to hotel via Hoppa bus services which runs every 15 Minutes. Room was great. Staff where very nice. We ate at the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Service was great. Would definitely stay here again.

Room type I booked was unavailable, front desk seem to understand or care tht was an issue. Phone in room didn’t work. Carpet stained in room.

Excellent stay.

We found the room pleasant, clean and spacious. We choose the 3 course meal day and very much enjoyed the meal. It was hot and the staff were helpful and attentive.

It was a 1 night stop over as I was picking friends up from Gatwick and wanted somewhere nearby, as its a 200 mile drive.

Good location, good food, great shuttle to airport.

Friendly front desk staff with quick and easy check in, hotel is convenient for early flights departing Gatwick. Room was in good condition with all the basic amenities available.

It was perfect for what we needed - a few hours to sleep before our flight the next morning - shower was good, room was clean, check in was quick

Wry clean and good

Let's be honest, if you are staying there it is to rest before a flight. This hotel delivers that simply. Everything is adequate, safe and well maintained. Two minor caveats: (1) There is no way to get anywhere by foot, you have to either take a taxi or the very expensive GH1 hotel shuttle, 9 gbp/person for a 5min ride. Feels like a racket. (2) The shower's glass wall does nothing to prevent a significant flooding of the floor beside the toilet - something to improve! I suspect most people wouldn't care as much as I did, so I would still recommend this stay.

I enjoyed my 3 course meal and the room overall.

Hopefully, they’ll think about having a little gift shop in there of little things that people might need

Overall it is just like every other holiday inn. The room in stayed in how ever, the plugs by the bed did not work properly, they kept turning off and on which I didn’t realise until the morning when I found my phone was still flat. The only lights that worked were in the bathroom and above the tv, which required getting out of bed to turn off and on. The worst part. The room smelt like sewage. Only a faint wiff but strong enough that you could constantly smell it.
