Breakfast team were really clued up about my coeliac disease and the choices were really good

It shouldn't be called Hotel &Spa. The name is misleading, the spa has nothing to do with the hotel is totally independent a separate business. It just happens to be inside the hotel. Disappointing really.

Friendly staff all round. Room spotless. Nice bar area. Plenty of parking. Can't fault at this price point.

Wonderful staff. Very friendly and go the extra mile. Felt very new and clean. Comfy beds and everything you need. Good buffet breakfast with lots of choice and freshly made eggs.

The hotel was lovely dinner and breakfast, only down side we could not use the spa as we were unaware we had to prebook but definitely stay here again.

Ik weet niet of het bijzonder is, maar alles klopt in dit hotel. Het personeel is bijzonder vriendelijk, de lobby is gezellig, de kamer was enorm schoon, de bedden goed en het ontbijt bijzonder goed. Absoluut een topper dit hotel

Nice clean rooms and hotel. However be aware that, if you reserve through a third party, there are no options from the hotel for reservation management.

Overall it was a pretty average hotel. The foyer is great and there’s a nice area there to drink from the bar. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. We tried the spa facilities which were good even though the spa area itself is pretty small. We had a premium room which was a good size but only had a narrow wardrobe for hanging clothes. Most of our clothes stayed in their respective case/overnight bag as there was nowhere to put them in the room. The bathroom had a bath and overhead shower which was basic. When the bathroom was last decorated it was prettily sloppily done as there were splashes of grey paint from the ceiling on the bathroom tiles and also some patches of white still on the bathroom ceiling. We ate dinner in the restaurant one. We had been informed that there was only a limited service on offer between Christmas and New Year and the menu was basically just pub food rather than a four star restaurant and not particularly good pub food either. We ate in Winchester a couple of times during our stay and the quality of food in the pubs there was far superior to that served in the hotel. We also had breakfast on the two mornings we were there which was patchy. They had some decent continental breakfast offers with decent sized croissant and pastries. However the cooked breakfast was disappointing. I think that they were a bit understaffed as there was always a wait for some items and the quality of the food on offer was pretty poor.

Excellent service from reception, bar and breakfast team. Hotel has been nicely renovated but why leave the 80s/90s door with no sound-proofing and which bang and creak. Awake at 5am before an 8 hour drive because of this.

Bedrooms and bathrooms were not in very good condition. They both reminded me of a travel lodge. In the reception area the hotel looked lovely, but thats as far as it went. It was an expensive stay for an average hotel.
