We had a lovely stay at the Lister Arms with our dog and we were all made to feel very welcome. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable and we enjoyed dinner and breakfast during our stay.
Our dog particularly enjoyed the dog treats and her bowl of sausages at breakfast and there were beautiful walks to take her right on our doorstep. We would recommend and love to go back again.

lovely room in the barn annex. Good quality produce. However, the kitchen doesnt cater very well for lactose intolerance - only butter for toast at breakfast. Also, potatoes/chips are not always included with main courses have to pay for these separately. Food generally on the pricey side.

Relaxing stay at the Lester Arms. We received a warm welcome, large clean room room with comfy bed. Staff extremely friendly even under pressure with it being a very busy pub. Food very good quality. Breakfast was exceptional. Fantastic walks on your doorstep. Would 100% stay again

We stayed in the Barn. The facility is just across the road from the main hotel.
We found the room exceptionally clean, cosy, modern and a comfortable bed.
Breakfast was superb. Evening meal was great too.

Lister Arms was a welcoming place, rooms were clean & tidy. Bar and restaurant had a myriad of choices, the food was tasty (locally sourced) and delicious.
Service was spot on with helpful and enthusiastic staff.
My favourite was plentiful Black Pudding available for breakfast - breakfast heaven.

Well impressed with the Inn overall but particularly the room which was spacious and fitted out with the best linen, bed, room and bathroom furniture.
The best ingredients for the food too.
Ideal location for the multiple walks in the area.
