Room was spotless and cleaned every day. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly and professional. The building itself was absolutely stunning with bags of character. The spa was simple but clean and beautifully kept with fantastic staff who put us at ease while we were there. I was particularly impressed with the lovely changing area. We hope to make another visit in the near future

The hotel felt very homely, with a warm informal reception. It’s quite huge inside with many corridors creating a feeling of discovery. I have to give a special call out to the restaurant. Great menu and my choice was exceptional in every way. Service & food brilliant. Our room was the Thomas More suite; happily we escaped with heads intact!! Cavernous room with sufficient sockets. Didn’t really trust the old plumbing so avoided the shower. Would be in our shortlist should we stay in the area again. Will definitely

Very clean but slightly tired room. All staff excellent. Great cooked to order breakfast as well as great lunch and great dinner - you can tell that quality ingredients are used and prepared/cooked by competent chef and team. Bar adequately stocked and reasonable prices for hotel. Overall good value stay and very dog friendly.

Deluxe room, extremely cold, no heating in the bathroom, property acknowledged this but nothing was done. Good spa facilities, spa staff excellent. We would stay again but not the same room.

Fabulous hotel and staff.The room we booked was dressed for the period of the property. This hotel is spotless and you are made to feel you are the most important guest in the hotel. Parking is free and on site. Sadly I give it only 4 stars simply because the characteristics of the building have creaky floors and we could hear those above us in every movement. All been said we will definitely be returning it is a little Gem with full spa and treatment centre.

What a lovely hotel in excellent settings. Staff were super friendly and loved our doys. Great food for evening meals and breakfast all cooked to order. Can't believe it is only ranked as a 3 star as deserves so much more.

Enjoyable stay at the Manor House Hotel while visiting Croft Circuit recently. Friendly welcome, easy parking. Spacious room with an excellent bathroom. A small hiccup over the bill at checkout was quickly rectified. Highly recommended.

Lovely place. Great staff. Good food. Wifi was good, room and shower were spot on.. but the mattresses in room 16 were terrible. Collapsed in the middle, 1 was stained, 1 had a rip in it - Not what you'd expect from a newly refurbished hotel

Really friendly staff. Nice looking place. Didn’t get to explore much as arrived late and checked out early. Room was spacious but felt basic. One thing I would note for those staying near to where the bins are (by the car park) collection was at 3am in the morning. Woke me up and then I couldn’t get back to sleep. Not a fault of the hotel and not exactly the fault of the collection team doing their job, just a bit frustrating and if I’d have known. I’d have asked for a room far away from that.

My introduction to this property was less than ideal. I don't think my room had received a thorough turn over from the past guest. Bath mat missing, didn't have the full suite of toiletries. All forgivable, until I wanted to go to bed. Only to find that it had hair (human) everywhere. The night porter kindly moved me to a very beautiful and newly refurbished room but i was disappointed that the manager made no effort to contact me to discuss. A little token of a voucher for the restaurant or spa or a discount on the room would have been appropriate in my opinion. Pity because the property is 500years old and beautiful.
