Marine Hotel

Always love to stay at The Marine Hotel … it’s charming.

All the staff were smiley and helpful. I ‘ve already told several friends that the hotel is excellent.

Lovely comfy hotel. Friendly staff and easy walk to whitstable and all that whistable has to offer. Will go back again 👍😍

Staff were excellent -Always through out our stay Food very good . Wine choice great . Rooms spacious and very clean - But -worse pillows ever made for uncomfortable sleep and stairwells and halls upstairs need decorating , chipped paint grubby looking .

Hotel beautiful, room beautiful

Having been to the Marine on many occasions found the bed in the room was of a very poor standard. It was very uncomfortable and sagged to one side. Now this is clearly not what you have delivered before, even to the point that my wife then suffered back ache for a number of days. I have spinal conditions and lumber problems, I found the bed very uncomfortable indeed. Room 15, it spoilt our stay there. And at £175.00 through expedia expected more, premier Inn was cheaper and there beds of a higher standard. Many thanks. Mr and Mrs Coaten

Marine hotel in Tankerton was very comfortable. It was extremely cold while we were there but lovely lady in housekeeping gave us a radiator for our room which really helped warm the room. All staff, particularly Karen on reception and Patsy in the restaurant, plus many whose names I don’t know who really were excellent for which we thank you all so much for making our stay so enjoyable!

Nice hotel and location though the rooms need a refresh the furniture was very chipped and the bathroom was not very clean and the maintenance on the bathroom needs improving esp the state of the sealant. Nice staff and fab view just needs some attention to detail

So pet friendly. My dog even got a sausage at breakfast.Good location and staff really friendly.I would definitely recommend and would like to return.

Lovely hotel, superb location, very helpful staff. Good room but kettle needed de-scaling & shower head needed cleaning. Otherwise very very good.

Fabulous view with balcony Superior room did not have robes. Paint work in bathroom and bedroom needs addressing. Bath area needs good clean. Carpet in place’s disgusting. Bed comfy, as were coffee and tea facilities. Would stay again, but would not pay the room rate for this room!

Great location, staff were superb, lovely local shops, cafes & restaurants, walking distance from Whitstable town centre. Only criticism would be the hotel is overdue a lick of paint.

Friends got stuck in lift twice. Our shower controls were so stiff we couldn’t stop it dripping. When we ordered brandy they gave it to us in tumblers, When we asked for brandy glasses the member of staff was very rude. Breakfast service could be more efficient. Cereals, conserves and fruit could be put out so people can help themselves. People don’t mind doing their own toast. Taking orders at breakfast was very slow could be more efficient. Some staff very helpful like receptionist others couldn’t care less. Bedroom windows need attention and lots of scuff marks on walls. Bottle of white wine ordered for dinner wasn’t cold no excuse for that. We were offered ice to put in it but eventually we did get another one free of charge. Need to find an eco friendly cleaner for toilets if you don’t want to use bleach.
