One night but very clean and super breakfast. Immediately next to Paddington station and great travel connections.

The room was okay but had definitely seen better days and the fact there where building works that started at 0900 and which we where only told about at check in wasn't nice.

Arrived London early at 8 am am via international flight ….Waited for a few hours before getting the rooms we booked, despite seeing many people checking out early in the morning. While waiting for the rooms, we visited the restaurant at the lobby for buffet breakfast for 21GBP but was told that if I booked the night before, it would only cost 18GBP. Well, the rigidity of the staff clouded the judgement that we have not got the room to ask for an advance booking for the breakfast buffet. Wish the staff members can be more flexible…. We stayed in two rooms for five nights in total….and it was a rather long stay.

Convenient for Paddington Station. Evening meal at the restaurant was good. Household staff very helpful.

Pros: friendly staff, area around hotel is nice, easy access to tube (underground) Cons: hotel is in dire need of renovation. Carpets in hallways and rooms are badly stained (we kept our socks on entire stay), bathrooms are gross, mattresses need replaced and there was a half drank bottle of water in our room when we checked in. Feels like a hotel you’d pay half to a third of what they are charging per night. We had a multi-night stay and contemplated checking out after our first night.

The room was tired, the air conditioning was pretty ineffective (not what you want on one of the hottest nights of the year). Shower gel dispenser broken/not usable etc The pool was lovely, changing rooms and facilities clean and well maintained Overall not great value for money

We had a lovely time staying at the Novotel, the room was clean, beds comfortable however we didn’t really have any area to put our luggage. Our daughter stayed on the sofa bed so very limited space to move. We used the pool and amenities were fantastic. The restaurant was delicious. The staff were polite and the lovely lady cleaning our room was especially helpful. Location was superb.

10 mins walk from Paddington station through a very safe, well lit and modernised area. Lots of shops and restaurant close by though we had a very good meal in the hotel restaurant. Lovely breakfast and efficient lifts!

Excellent hotel in an excellent location

I was personally very happy and satisfied with the Novotel. The location was excellent and the immediate surrounding area around the hotel was a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately, the weather prevented us from fully enjoying it. Within walking distance you have the Grand Union Canal which is very pleasant and has a variety of places to eat and drink. Also very close were coffee shops, a market and several other restaurants and bars. Paddington Station is readily accessible to the hotel, providing you take the right route, it can feel a little complicated. Paddington Station, being one of London's mainline stations has many, many exits and can seem confusing to the first time traveler. By far the best route to the hotel is to seek the exit from the Hammersmith and City tube line, that exits next to the canal, and you will find it a short walk from there.

My stay at the Novotel Paddington was very nice. The hotel is a short walk from Paddington Station. The room is a good size, and it was nicely maintained. I would stay here again.

Clean and tidy, but staff lacked any real enthusiasm. Restaurant very overpriced for what was very mediocre food, dishes had to be sent back as luke warm, with no real apologies. Bed comfy, and room clean and tidy

Vi havde booket til 3 personer og fik et værelse med dobbeltseng og sovesofa. Det var sådan set fint. Der var dog ingen mulighed for at pakke ud og lægge sit tøj i skuffer/skabe. Når sofaen var slået ud var det absolut ingen gulvplads… De var ved at renovere, så der var larm hver morgen omkring kl 08.00 - det syntes jeg ikke man skal betale fuld pris for (Vi blev nemlig ikke informeret om det da vi bookede). Poolen var fin, men det var ikke hver dag at saunaen var varm og træningscentret var virkelig kedeligt. Morgenmads buffeten var god og personalet var søde og hurtige til at fjerne tallerkner og fylde op.
