Oyster Fleet Hotel

We were there for an event therefore did not go sightseeing. Yes car park was safe.

Room was clean noisy during night The bar area just smelled of food there was no air in there you couldn’t go in there if going out later

The receptionist Niaomi was super friendly professional and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The English breakfast was fresh and tasty. The steak restaurant was a nice surprise. The scenery over looking the water was picturesque. To anyone visiting Canvey I would recommend the Oysterfleet hotel

No internet in rooms. No access before 8:30 for lift reception or restaurant where internet is available

Easy check in. Small carpark but adequate. The room was good. Looking a bit tired in the main building, the roof probably needs some attention judging from the ceiling tiles. Shame the lift is inaccessible after midnight. Overall though it was good value for what we required.

Property in general was clean and the staff pleasant. Had issues with breakfast, the orange juice was fizzy and off so i advised staff. The apple juice had something floating in it. It was changed or removed but attention to detail needed. Rooms pretty basic for the money. Could do with updating. Ok for one night but wouldnt want to stay longer.

Have stayed in hotel before for family party and really enjoyed it great food and bar close too shops, would recommend it 👌

When you visit, eat in the restaurant very nice and great valve.

Arrived late evening parking available although narrow parking bays to check in Friendly lady at reception Checked in minimum effort Bar & restaurant still open & appeared quite busy (didn’t use) Room allocated in annex Found room immediate reaction mediocre room Adequate size felt dark dimly lit Acceptable cleanliness throughout No air-con Opened window heard drone of chiller plus parking immediately under window Side light by the bed didn’t work the TV on the wall in the corner seriously my tablet at home is bigger almost required binoculars Ok tea tray no extras only tea or coffee with milk & either sugar or sweetener No WiFi in room Bath towels on the small side but nicely laundered Shower curtain felt dated Woken very early morning by van starting up under the window & exhaust fumes in the room Had no option but to close window within few minutes the room very stuffy To be totally honest the room was basic definitely prefer a premier inn both for ambiance facilities & most definitely the price Checkout was easy as box to deposit key outside of the main building Unfortunately unable to recommend The Oyster Fleet Hotel in Canvey Island as in my opinion not value for money

The ground floor bedroom offered was terrible. It was extremely basic, worn and was surrounded by both parked and moving vehicles. No alternative was available so it was take it or leave it. We chose to leave it and moved to a much superior hotel.

Convenient for a quick stop over, friendly staff big clean room, parking good, but the bed was SO hard, both woke up in pain and the pillows were as flat as pancakes. For the price we paid, at least should have included a continental breakfast….. nothing! This was extra…….not at those prices! When you can travel 5 minutes to the seafront for a full English inc bread and hot drink for half the price they wanted.
