Priory Guest House

We book a daily room with a private bathroom we book this room due to having a 3 year old with us an needed easy access to a toilet (1 double bed and 1 single bed), on arrival we were at a different hotel and the room has 3 single beds without a private bathroom it was shared with everyone on the bottom floor

Close enough to beach/shops/pubs. Room very basic. Beds crecky and old, bedding was cleanish but stained in places. Underneath valence had mud stains around bottom. Very dusty and cobwebs all around room. Very noisy with windows shut. Shared bathroom consists of a small shower and a toilet, these where in what looked liked and converted cupboard. Sink was in room no sink in bathroom. Shower was either red hot or cold. Electric Wire exposed behind the toilet. Light in toilet only worked it kept switching on n off,and top of stairs plug socket hanging off held on with brown parcel tape. Was ok to lay ur head if no other choice but id look around before having to book this place.

We booked one place and the sent us to a different place.

Liked the property was just a couple of issue's nothing major

bedroom lights not working, no sink plugs, tvremote not working

Well situated close to main shopping area and sea front. Room was basic but clean. Comfortable bed. A lot of noise into the early hours due to guests arriving back from a night out.

Good size room,very clean,had everythink we needed in the room.will stay again

Friendly staff but there was cobwebs all around the light shade, the shower and toilet didnt look the best and there was rubbish under the bed with bricks holding up the broken bed. Was hardly in the room though as it was just booked for after night out

The room was ok, the beds comfy, but the windows might aswell of not been there, they let in draft, so it was cold at night, and then blocked out no noise, we might aswell have slept outside. Dirty toilet brush!!!!!!! A big no no.

Rubbish horrible unconfatble bed. No shower door in Room because it was broken . So noisy couldn't sleep. Had to wait 15 minutes out side before some one come to check us in . And she didn't have a clue what she was doing. Very disappointed with the service that me and my 4 n 5 yr old boys got after a long drive down.

Booked 2 rooms, both very basic but clean... One room had no electric so no lights or working fridge and the shower in the shared bathroom didn't work... Only there for the night so it was somewhere just to get our heads down as we were at fake festival all day...we booked in as stated at 11am and the rooms were ready but the guest house isn't staffed 24/7 but there's Emergency numbers to contact if you require assistance... I'm no snob so could make do for the night but if rating this property I'd give it a 4/10

Overnight stay for work purposes,had everything I needed and would stay again.

Good value for money, basic accommodation but very clean. One or two unnecessary phone calls (to confirm arrival times when we had previously stated this) but this was down to staffing issues and more a minor inconvenience than a major problem (it's not particularly convenient answering a phone call/ returning calls when you're at a motorsport event)!!

For tre voksen var værelse lidt for lille samt var dobbelte sengen i dårlige stand. Personale var både venlig og meget hjælpsom.

Accommodation adequate but room decor poor following recent leak awaiting redecoration

Relocated to another property owned by same lady as roof was leaking,initially to a uninhabitable room-dirty carpet and not ensuite,then to a clean room in another house but no hot water in sink, good hot shower though.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good value for money, cosy rooms with good facilities. Less than 5 minute walk to Sea Front. Recommended.

Very helpful friendly staff. Noisy nightclub close by on a saturday night. Water pressure low. But overall very pleasant stay.
