This is a place for when you want to toyally switch off, relax and gave a great nights sleep. Having no TV on the room, meant we went to bed early, heard no a sound all night and came away fully refreshed after one night. There are a couple of nice pubs and restaurants in walking distance and the Thai Orchid is fab.

Dreadful value for money. Club Room had no arm chairs; no TV; no wardrobe or chest of drawers for clothes; no carpet or rug; no "extras" in bathroom like tissues, sanitary bags, shower caps etc.; no safe; and no advice on booking that buffet breakfast only offered cereals, fruit & toast or croissants. All this for over £450 a night. Avoid!

The refurbishment by the new owners is complete and has been very well done. We have stayed both before (comfy, convenient but run down) and after, this is our second time with the new owners. Now very comfortable and a pleasure to stay. Excellent location for Bray eateries and lovely spot on the river. Garden down to the river is particularly nice on a good day with nice outdoor seating. Perfect all round and well done the young staff.

We had the most beautiful of stay ,the property has a peaceful and tranquil vibe, greetings from all the staff team were warm and friendly its especially nice to see a young team happy to make our stay memorable. We will look forward to our next visit . Thank you all . Stephen & Rosie .

Beautiful place.

This is a beautiful building with a colorful history that has lovingly been converted into a beautiful place to stay. The rooms are spacious. I had a river view. I met Helle who was delightful, and very accommodating when I had to make an early departure, ensuring I was fueled up for the day. Great dining options within an easy walk. Wonderful find!

Very nice location. Staff were very nice and helpful. Beautiful rooms and nice lounge area just next to the Thames River. Great value.

Beautiful setting along the river, lovely and relaxed very clean easy to use

On arrival the hosts were lovely. Big spacious suite with beautiful views of the river. Great to have beautiful outside with the view of the river.

Jättefint hotell precis vid Themsen. Känns nyrenoverat. Fanns dock inga krokar varken i badrummet eller i rummet. Inte heller någon toapappershållare så det känns väldigt nygjort.

Wonderful property and place to stay!! Right along the river. Our room had a balcony that you could sit on and watch/listen to the birds. The people who work there were so kind and helpful. We would recommend this place to anyone not wanting to stay in London but looking for a more country side stay. Maidenhead was terrific and the food fantastic. Would stay again!!

Wonderful location, close to Bray (walking distance). We've stayed here before & will again. The honesty bar was very poorly supplied which is why I marked it down a little.

The hotel was very charming and our room was lovely. However, our shower did not drain properly therefore we had to keep shutting it off and tapping the drain itself with our foot to get it to drain. The plumbing by the toilet was leaking water also. I had a massage and it was in an unoccupied room which they did not have the heat on. It was freezing! Definitely ruined my experience. The communication between with the staff was pretty good except they never communicated how we need to pay the masseuse (credit card or cash) and we never knew the amount of the massage until we were actually getting our massage. Considering the cost of the room I was not thrilled with our experience.

Very good welcome. Beautiful, quiet residence. Excellent peaceful location on the river front. My only issue was no bathroom. Shower was what looked like a cupboard with no door. Plus, extremely noisy plumbing. Breakfast superb. Very good host.

We had a lovely stay. Very nice room, lovely communal spaces to relax in, decent shower.

Lovely building and lovely room. Hotel manager was really welcoming and explained where everything was. Found it odd no TV in the bedroom, but that’s not the vibe of the hotel. Could have done with some soundproofing between bedrooms as we got couldn’t go to sleep because of the noise coming from one of the other rooms.

Lovely room overlooking the river. Refurb in progress and one or two minor niggles with the room (which did not spoil things). Young staff very attentive and friendly. Lovely and substantial continental breakfast. Greatly improved since our previous stay before present owner took over. Overall very pleasant overnight stay and will certainly visit again. Convenient for Bray restaurants!

Beautiful old property, recently refurbished. Big cosy lounge area with fire. Big beds, spacious rooms. Right by the river.
