Hi arrived around 2 30am, no-one was about , other than a guest waitfor towels for the room, whe we got to the room it had no toilet paper or towels, we had a drink, but again no spoons, the bed was very cheap and lumpy and hard. We had to sleep with the window open, because of the heat ,the road was very loud. The window had a broken safety catch, so a child could fall out, the bed was under the window, the room looked to have been made up to a third word standard, I think it's owners are from Asia

The place was run down and looked like a construction site in the lodge I stayed at. Downstairs room had flooring ripped up and plastering everywhere. There was no security so the main door to the property was propped open the entire time, meaning anyone could walk straight in- which they did. You also couldn’t lock your room door from inside so not safety whatsoever. On top of that there was absolutely no hot water to take a shower the whole of my stay. Was definitely NOT worth the discounted rate of £55 per night. The only good thing about the property was that it was a 10 minute drive to the airport.

It literally is a lonely road as in buses pass there but finish early so if your flight is early either book a cab or walk 1hr5 like I did (would never recommend that as the environment was dark and road wasnt easy to walk on) as I arrived in had to wait for check in then got sent to the top floor with no offer of help with me suitcases (bear in mind its 3 floors no lift) not all thr staff are friendly.
Put it this way...only stay there if you only need somewhere to rest your head in emergency.
The room I was in was okish as in there was alot of dust next to the bed followed by terrible reception which leads to the wifi cuts out alot.

I wish I’d just paid more to go to a chain hotel. This was terrible, the shower took 10 minutes to warm up by this point the bathroom was already flooded and the water was leaking into the bedroom floor. One of the great benefits was ‘FREE PARKING’ listed on their advert but I was in fact charged for parking for the few hours I was there overnight!!! Conveniently close to the airport but that’s about all that was good about this place.

Instructions of room location and card key available at reception after hours. Room was clean but there was no towels available to use. There was coffee, tea and sugar sachets to use, however, there was no milk. Pretty disappointing with the omission of these basic items.

Absolutely disgusting. The only redeeming feature was the young man working at reception. Room was filthy and smelt terrible. Stains on walls. Toilet was badly stained. Floor rotten throughout the room and bathroom. Shower also rotten and rust stained. Filthy. Moved to a different room but only marginally better.

Poor, water damaged flooring and ant issue, bathroom tiles lifting due to water issue, no towels in bathroom to shower, run down not even worth the low charge, left at 2am as was bitten by something. Will never stay again, probably once a nice place but not anymore 2/10.

I stayed here one night before an early flight from stanstead. The hotel is conveniently located about 5 min drive to the airport. The chap at front desk was friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were both clean as was the shower. The room had tea making facilities and a hair dryer. The bed was not so good very bumpy, you could feel the springs, and parking is not free as stated I was charged £6. 50. Overall ok for a one night stay.

Room at first was ok. Then waking up in the hour feeling as we were bitten I had red mark that have now puffed so my taking antihistamines. On closer inspection was bed bugs are we killed a few of them leaving the blooded remains on the pillows. We divided to shower and leave the place by 1.30 in the morning. So we had managed to to arrive at 10pm and gone in a few hours. We was in room 21 so really check the room the room with the lights off and use your black light to check the bed and surrounding area. Would I go back to the lodge no not really. Avoid if the other rooms are like it. Seems to have not bad reviews. I did email the lodge advising that they should look into this but expecting to be refunded for the night would be better

The room was generally a bit tatty and dated. There were no tv channels on the tv and an old tv bracket was on the wall but the tv was on a cupboard. Price was good and would stay again if flying from Stansted.

Bed side lights not working. Only one towel for two guests. Floor in room all broken, not very good for a disabled person!!
TV not working.
Reception area very poor and needs repairs.
Receptionist asked to borrow a pen to fill out details.

Great for getting to airport as so nearby. The shower was just a drip and the room was hot, so had to open window but then you heard the planes taking off and landing all night. The room was clean. Ideal for quick stayover but nothing more
