The rooms are lovely with a large seating area, dining area, kitchen, 2 bathrooms. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They ensure you are well supplied with fruits, teas, coffee and small sweets. Great location in the city.

During our recent stay in London at Taj 51, we had a fabulous visit - attentive and friendly staff, an impeccably clean suite, and wonderful food. We have visited Taj every year for the past five years and continue to be impressed. This visit, however, we will remember for the events after our visit ended. When we sadly left Taj we moved to the Trafalgar Square area to a different hotel, and the horror started. Our assigned room was dirty, dated, and the toilet didn't flush. We immediately asked to be moved to another room, but the front desk said no rooms were available. We said the toilet didn't work and they sent three men who stood around while one of them tried to fix the toilet, resulting in a temporary fix. This was unacceptable. My wife was especially furious. She cried on the bed and wouldn't talk to me. I suggested we head for the bar across the street to strategize what to do next. Desperately I called Taj to try to save my marriage. The reservations agent gladly welcomed our return to Taj and asked us to arrive immediately. With our spirits lifted we left the bar and exited the terrible hotel. Arriving at Taj a concierge and bellman were waiting to carry our luggage to our suite along with my wife, her faith in humanity restored. We luxuriated and were pampered for the next 5 nights, enjoying the superb staff, service, food, and suite. We are forever grateful for the Taj team coming to our rescue. The rest of our stay was excellence. We will return very soon!

Once again, a faultless stay. Service is impeccable and so welcoming it truly feels as though I am returning home. Fabulous suites and dining at Quilon is a must!

The suite was wonderful and the staff brilliant and so welcoming especially as it was my wife’s birthday and we found wine, cake and a card waiting for us in the room.

I have just had yet another spectacular stay at the Taj 51 Buckingham Gate Suites and Residences. I was welcomed back with the usual genuine warmth that I have come to expect from this wonderful place. As ever the service was impeccable and the accommodation out of this world, particularly as I was given the most amazing upgrade to the most luxurious suite I have ever stayed in. Thank you to everyone at the Taj for another world class stay. I would not wish to stay anywhere else when I have occasion to visit London.

The Taj is a one of a kind property. Their staff is impeccably trained. They are so courteous, kind, and thoughtful. We stay there whenever we’re in London. You won’t be treated better anywhere else.

The Taj 51 was a beautiful hotel with outstanding service. We were so comfortable and everything felt luxurious. We were upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite that was spacious and gorgeous! We had complimentary breakfast and happy hour. It was wonderful after being out all day to come back to this hotel to relax. The attention to detail in the room is amazing as they anticipate your every need. Location is great with easy access to the tube.

The property and apartment were spotless and staff went above and beyond any and all expectations with plenty of special little extras to make our stay unforgettable! Food was absolutely delicious and breakfast one of the best we had Thank you for such a wonderful stay
