Stayed here with my partner for a well-deserved break, the staff were friendly and accommodating. We ended our stay engaged!

Lovely welcome from the staff who were very informative about everything from parking to meals to how to contact them.
Parking is very limited however public parking is available nearby.
Room was comfortable and warm. Had all the things needed (tea, coffee, basic toiletries, towels etc). Having a safe in the room was a nice touch.
The only little things are there is no mirror next to the table to do hair / make up as it’s across the room and the toilet door constantly hits the bathroom door.
Shower good quality, nice bedding.
Slight issue on the last night with other guests but the staff were really apologetic the next morning when this was brought to their attention (hoping to receive an email about it though once it is mentioned to management).
Overall very nice and in a good location.

It was a pleasant stay, good service. Only disappointment was the curry on the menu was not good quality and portion was too small for the price. Hotel was comfortable and centrally located. Parking is smaller as compared to number of rooms available.

Nice pub hotel in the lake district with lovely view, sadly we were in annex across the road with a view of carpark. Nice enough room but slightly dated and a bit boring. Grest access to windermere lake and shops. Nice breakfast

Stayed for the second time here but stayed in a more upgraded room which was lovely nice friendly hotel with lovely food /breakfast and a nice pub with great choice of drinks with reasonable prices great location and free parking

The family annex was amazing. Clean, nicely decorated. The beds were very comfy. We had an evening meal in the restaurant. The food was delicious and reasonably price. Very happy with my stay at the Angel Inn

The room was older but clean and it worked for us. The property is convenient to Windermere and the Lake District. I didn't research the area enough and booked a stay on a weekend in Sept. The town was packed and overcrowded. I'm not blaming the property, just consider the timing of your visit.
