Great decor, friendly and helpful staff and delicious food - really enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our two night stay! Breakfast was very nice with good variety. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Great location for travelling into Oxford, visiting the farmers dog and exploring villages in the Cotswolds.

Everything about our stay was incredible, and it's hard to pick just one thing that stood out! The staff were exceptional—so friendly, accommodating, and provided brilliant service throughout our visit. They were particularly wonderful in being so attentive to my wife's gluten allergy for both dinner and breakfast, which we truly appreciated. The room itself was amazing: spacious, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. We both had an amazing night's sleep in the comfy bed. Both dinner and breakfast were brilliant. Dinner was fresh and delicious, and the breakfast service was quick, especially when ordering from the selected menu (the help-yourself coffee and cereal was a great start too!). Honestly, we couldn't find a single fault with our stay. We would 100% come again!

Our room was very comfortable,the bathroom was a great size a shower would have been nice even a hand held one but it wasn't detrimental to our stay. The restaurant was lovely, the food excellent,the staff very friendly and attentive, overall a great stay we hope to return again soon.

Only issue is room was cold no heating atall which was required told reception and was told nothing wrong with boiler but didn't tell us . Overall nice food but still waiting for some sort of response from manager. Its not to much to expect heating in room

I've stayed here before and always enjoyed it, this time I noticed how quiet they were, but no comments when I checked in. Got to my room which seemed clean and tidy but the TV didn't work properly and the remote didn't work, gave up with it. The toilet seat was detached from the toilet and there was no hot water. On check out I complained and was told that they had been closed because the business had been sold, they had only been open again for 2 days, no apology or offer of a partial refund, it was though it was my fault, very strange attitude. Hope it will get better in time, it was a nice place to stay.

We stayed for one night here to visit Blenheim palace as it was so close, we were warmly welcomed on arrival and showed to our room which was lovely and cosy and comfortable. It was a Saturday evening and we hadn’t booked a table for food but they kindly squeezed us in even though they were very busy, the food was very good as was the breakfast the next morning, there was a continental breakfast laid out and we had the choice of full English or different types of eggs, we chose to have omelettes which were delicious. All in all it was a great place to stay and I’d highly recommend it.

They cancelled my booking as they had changed ownership but I got no refund they had told me to cancel but it was a non refund booking I suspect that has resulted in no refund I expect a FULL refund
