The Broadway Hotel

Bedding and towels were clean and good quality. The room was clean if decoratively tired. The area outside the window was untidy, I don't think all guests avoided smoking.

Nice people - good breakfast - just a tired building and room that was too noisy and dated with very uncomfortable pillows.

The meal of the restaurant was nice. But, my room was too small to relax.

The food that is available is of a high standard and a very reasonable price - you certainly get value for money. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive, going above and beyond when asked.

The broadway is a great hotel which I keep going to due to it's key location. Food and staff are great. Free parking is handy. The only criticism is the rooms are a bit tired and outdated but I don't really care about that. Overall it's a pleasant stay

All of the staff from the waitress to the cleaners were lovely. We had a lovely staff, the chefs are excellent too, and we had great breakfast and evening meals.

Nice rooms though get hot in the summer as there's no air-conditioning, food is excellent

Restaurant was closed on night of arrival. Fair enough as it was Boxing Day but we weren’t told in advance. We were recommended somewhere that was thankfully open. Also offered the option to sit in the restaurant with a takeaway. Family room was clean enough and bed was comfy but blinds were broken on both windows. Location was noisy as both lift and stairs were adjoining. No late night noise though. Plenty of free onsite parking. Breakfast was good and included in room rate.

Good food at breakfast. In the centre of town. Car park. Rather old fashioned hotel . We would have liked a separate shower instead of a shower in the bath ,with no screen .

What stands out about this hotel, is the unique and exceptional quality of the service. There is a pervasive impression of a happy workforce, treating visitors more like welcome acquiantances than distant guests. This is a testimony to outstanding management.

A comfortable, privately owned hotel. A bit dated, as you might expect from a non-chain establishment, but it did not impact upon my stay. Look out for the rather charming two-person elevator. I had lunch and breakfast at the hotel. Their Leek & Pumpkin soup was really good, and was served with some superior rustic bread.

Delightful independent place to stay very close to the centre of town. Warmly welcomed on arrival, nice room. Selection of local ales at the bar, and a full dinner menu. Price was very fair especially with breakfast included.

Broadway Hotel is very handy to Letchworth town centre. Although old everything works well including the classic lift!! The staff were very friendly and helpful. We did have trouble with the shower running cold then very very hot. Otherwise an enjoyable stay.

The hotel is very good indeed. This was my second stay and I plan to stay again in September. However, when I first stayed I had a room with a walk in shower rather than a bath. On accessing my room this time, I found it only had a bath with a shower. My partner is disabled and although ambulant, cannot access a bath. I asked about changing the room but was told only single rooms have the shower only. This is rather disconcerting as usually disabled people have a partner/carer with them which means a double room would be required. We had to keep the double room and my partner could only have a wash down rather than a full shower.

A nice hotel, well appointed in the public areas. Staff are friendly and helpful especially Boti the chef. The room was small however there was a separate study/dressing room area. There is a somewhat terrifying lift to the upper floors. A good substantial breakfast was included. It is situated in the town centre very close to the railway station.
