The Capri

I found the hotel perfect for a short stay in Torquay. Only a 10 minute walk to the seafront and free parking just outside the entrance. I had a lovely cooked breakfast every morning with some extra treats. Really friendly place and I'm going back there in the summer. I'm using the hotel as a base to meet my friends who return to Torquay twice a year.

Great stay, visited due to a business trip and took the family, the location was great and room was a decent size, very clean and great hosts (unobtrusive and friendly)

Very good location for visiting Torbay. Easy to walk into Torquay and along the marina. Very pleasant owners. Very clean. Good English breakfast in the morning. No problems at all and would be perfectly happy to stay there again in the future.

It was very welcoming and the room had everything you needed and was clean. The buffet breakfast was good. It is on a main road but is on a good bus route. On site parking. Would definitely recommend it.

Val and Paul were very accommodating and friendly. The property is conveniently located within a couple of miles from local restaurants and cafes. The room was very clean and covid safe with hand sanitiser in the room and communal areas.

We had a lovely stay at the Capri - from a very warm welcome on arrival, to the exceptionally clean rooms, lots of breakfast options and good facilities for all the family. My wife had injured her leg the week before (so we hired a wheelchair locally to help her get about Torquay and Paignton) and the owners couldn't have been more helpful in making sure that we all had a fabulous week by the sea. Highly recommended!

The water supply was disgusting with literally no water coming through the shower. My son was collecting dripping water in his hands to wash the shampoo away from his hair and my friend was waiting and waiting in the shower hoping that the water flow would be restored. I had to take showers at 6am in the morning to get a proper flow of water, Even after reporting it to the owner no change was made. Carpet in one of the rooms was sticky and dirty all over Dogs in the property. They told us that they will be out of the way but my son was told to leave the sitting room watching tv as the dogs needed to sleep there.

A well-run family friendly hotel. The room was cleaned every day with TV and tea and coffee if needed. Good choice of substantial breakfast setting you up for the day. Easy access to Paignton and Torquay with frequent buses running. A good stay overall.

We were made very welcome and looked after very well throughout our stay. Very nice hosts and the breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay there again.

The Capri hotel is a loveley place for families! Very nice hosts in a familiar atmosphere near to the Torquay city. 10-15 minutes by feet. About 5-10 minutes to the train station.
