Lovely, cheap and charming little hotel in a tremendous location, close to all the sights and East railway station.
Minimal contact with staff, was let in and explained where the room and key was, no reception desk as such, but didn't need anything more. Didn't see anyone on the way out.
The room was compact but very adequate, clean and comfortable. Usable en suite in the corner, little shabby in places but no complaints.
Nice to have a 2:00pm check in available and the perfect place for my quick (cheap) overnighter before a meeting the next day.

A perfect location near the old town and Cathedral. Very comfortable bed and duvet. Did not read the fine print to realize the shared bathroom was on the 2nd floor but was not a bother. Would definitely go back again,

Great service from the staff! Stayed in the single room. Comfy bed - I just lay on top due to the heatwave. There was a fan in the room but it was loud and not very effective, this should be upgraded. Even with the windows wide open, the wind didn't really come in. It would've been a more comfortable stay if it wasn't during a heatwave. Good shower and bathroom didn't fog up. Mirror on the back of the bathroom door rather than above the sink is a bit odd but get used to it quickly. Quiet location, even on a Friday night. Didn't hear the nightclub that was a couple of streets away. Close to Canterbury East train station. I'd stay here again, hopefully in cooler weather!

This Inn was in a perfect location for exploring Canterbury and the surrounding areas. Being located almost in the middle so both train stations it made day trips out of town very simple. My favourite part however was the fact that it was located conveniently inside the old walls, so wandering around the old parts of the city in the evenings was wonderful. The staff was cheerful on check-in, which went flawlessly. There was plenty of water pressure for showers which is very nice after long days hiking in surrounding towns. We did find the bed in room 6 very hard, so this is a good thing to know for those who do not like beds like this, perhaps booking a different room as I am not sure if all rooms have the same mattresses.

In an excellent location across the street from where the action is and a short (and beautiful) walk from the train station, this seven-room hotel is dated and quirky, but the rooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were crisp and new.
Beware, the stairs are not for folks with the slightest mobility issues.
I’d recommend it to people willing to trade ultimate modern comfort for the sake of inexpensive accommodations.

Toilet situation misleading - I thought I booked an en-suite with shower i.e. rather than a bath. It was a shower in the corner of the room. Shared toilet down the landing!! - glad my wife wasn’t with me on this trip!!! This wouldn’t have been so bad had there been more toilet paper. Zero information in room e.g. wi-fi code. Nobody to speak with at the property - there was an emergency number - fortunately there was a Tesco express close-by.

Location was fantastic, the building carried a strong smell of food on the Friday only not sure if due to business downstairs. Interesting building, although staircase up top can be a bit tricky and the bath didn’t work or we couldn’t work it but the separate shower did. For future reference although our key was not left in the room the guy came quickly and I would suggest to leave the WiFi code on arrival as we didn’t get to use it till the following evening, luckily friends had better service to research day before. We will stay again due to having single beds in the property and the location was great.

The room was very large and spacious and extremely comfortable. We had a shared toilet, but in room shower and sink, which was workable.
Only 4 parking spaces out front, so if they are full Canterbury East Railway Station, a 5 minute walk, is the cheapest and most convenient alternative.
