Did not stay for breakfast....early flight

Very nice, great staff, good breakfast, comfy bed, would stay again.

A lovely historic building with comfy and clean rooms, helpful and friendly staff, and great food (we are vegetarians and found the food options to be quite unique/interesting and good quality). We were also given a later checkout time due to travel connections, which was hugely appreciated.

£113 and breakfast was extra. Not worth it... if this is your budget, pay a little more and go to Cadbury House. Worth no more than £80/night. Rooms are a little tired and being woken up at 6am to a broken alarm was far from ideal! No communication from staff, just other people staying and it took about half an hour to sort! Wouldn't stay again at that price!

Cosey pub hotel with delicious food and warm, kind and courteous staff. Put this high on your shortlist for your next stay in the area!

Friendly quirky pub…all the rooms are different but all have everything you need. Breakfast is excellent and the set menu for dinner was great. Stay here every year on our way to and from Wales.

Clean room, staff really attentive

I loved the rooms and restaurant, staff were lovely. The only reason for the 3 stars is the location. The beautiful old building is right under Bristol airport flight path. From 6am, every 5 minutes, a plane flew overhead. Very early start to my day.

We love staying here. We come every year on our way to and from Wales to break the journey. The food is excellent. Service great and friendly. Looking forward our next visit!

With great bus links nearby to bristol and western super mare,this hotel had friendly staff,comfortable rooms,and served good food,we had an enjoyable two nights stay.

Nice comfortable room spacious ensuite with good walkin shower. Breakfast very good all freshly cooked to order,all round really good stay

Great for stopover location Nice beer garden and excellent outside bar Nice evening walk can be had by the park and river. Comfortable room and service was excellent Food is ok. Road noise is fine if windows are shut Would return if was in the area.

Really great welcome. Lots of little touches to make your stay more special like biscuits, bottled sparkling water and snacks along with quality tea and coffee. Very clean and lovely big, fluffy towels. Breakfast was exceptional. Great choice with excellent service.

Great one night stay. Room was comfortable and well equipped, staff were friendly, efficient and polite. Good food in the restaurant for dinner which was reasonably priced and generous, and breakfast was beautifully presented and plentiful. We’d happily return if in the area again!

The location was convenient for visiting family.
