This hotel is great value I have stayed many times

Bed sheets clean but mattress needs updating springs gone. Bathroom tired Bath with shower head very poor head came off in hand broken does not screw together And water pressure none Plumbing needs updating I had to was what I could in sink as water trickle out. Bad night sleep due to bed and train track next door. Parking bad for tall vans as height restriction had to park in public car park

Friendly staff and comfortable room. Had an issue with the toilet which they fixed within the hour and were very polite about the issue.

Hotel is adequate for a quick stop over, but water pressure is very poor so showers are not good Room was adequate

The property was value for money I bit oldie worldie. the breakfast was very nicely served.in a lovely village the only fault was its right next to the main London Train Line and the noise from the trains can make your room shake our room was 27.

Shower terrible. Warm water from cold tap when first turned on. Chair seat in bedroom disintegrating One bath towel for a double room

The hotel is in a great location off the Thames Path. All is clean and friendly but hotel a bit dated

Bedrooms need a refurb, particularly the bathrooms. Old showers, no shelves, cold water was warm !!!

Room was comfortable, but shower was in apex could stand up straight under it, also shower water pressure and control was appalling running of the bath with an additional pump once temperature of water is balanced. But didn’t seem to work very well.

Disappointed our room was right near the train track, which is a busy line! made sleeping quite difficult, plus at 2.30am there was engineering works being done on the line so we had drilling going on for about an hour! Hotel did not offer breakfast or dinner so we had to find an alternative venue. The staff were friendly but no one was around when we checked out , so we felt the hotel was not really interested in our stay with them.

Staff are very friendly including the restaurant staff. This hotel represents good value for money and is comfortable. You can hear the trains in certain parts of the hotel which is mentioned in the hotel description, we stay at the weekend so it wasn’t really an issue but during the week I would opt for a room at the other side of the hotel which is clear when booking a room. If in the area would stay again.

Noisy neighbour with very thin wall to next bedroom. Lady at reception was happy to move me to a similar room with no fuss. My one gripe was that at two times during booking, a ‘free breakfast’ was mentioned. This was not the case at the hotel. Finally managed to get a partial refund from Hotels.com but not before a lengthy back and forth online. Beware if the advert says ‘free breakfast’, because there probably isn’t!

Stay was ok but very disappointed we paid for breakfast when booking as it was included in the price and was told by the manageress/owner that breakfast was not available and was not included in the price. Had we known this when we booked it we would have booked elsewhere. This is a clear breach of the trade description act and is in violation of advertising standards as well as being deceitful and dishonest.

Last minute stay. Room was clean and comfortable. Rail line outside but this was mentioned on the room listing and wasn't an issue for me. Friendly hosts with fab breakfast recommendations nearby. Two small private carparks either side.

Charged for breakfast but no breakfast. No soap. No heating. Overcharged, as paid twice for VAT. Terrible place. Avoid at all costs.

Noisy. Next to train line. The rooms either side had people with tv on til late. No sound proof as old building Fan in bathroom noisy Seat on toilet didn’t stay up One member of staff very helpful. Younger member not so warming
