Excellent place to stay.Good location for exploring the area. Local walks Hadrians wall etc.We stayed in the Hadrian suite.Very spacious with nice roll top bath.We ate in the bar on burger night. Again Excellent.Staff were friendly especially the breakfast lady.Full of smiles in the morning. Would definitely stay again

We stayed at the Greenhead as part of our Hadrians Wall walk. Could not have found a better hotel. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Staff are helpful and friendly. A big shout out to Dan the lovely bartender.

What a wonderful find! Room was lovely, clean and comfortable, little touches around the room just made a white room come alive. All the team we encountered were great, food was excellent and service really fast. Beautiful location and will be booking to come back again

We stayed in the family room which was very spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Had a lovely meal downstairs in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast the following morning. Breakfast was available at 7am which was perfect for us as we were intending to head out for an early hike. The location was also great for our hike and to the sites of Hadrian’s Wall.

It's a good little place to stay if, for whatever reason, you find yourself in the area. The rooms were decent and the attached restaurant served a good breakfast. I wouldn't mind staying there again.
