Great place in a great area

Great location and nice ambience in the public areas. Can’t fault the hotel. It’s very quiet even though locate d in a busy area

Lovely hotel, very well located. Staff helped us with a smile everytime we had questions or small issues. Entrance cafe was always full of people working or chatting, very lively. Only small issue (on me not them) bed was on the smaller side. I'm 6ft4in and was longer than the bed. I thought I had picked a queen, it was a double. Again my bad but something to pay attention to.

The service was mediocre; the rooms kind of smelled weird

For my first time in London, I really enjoyed staying here. The Piccadilly line was just around the corner and the neighborhood was great!

Ravie de notre séjour dans cet hôtel Nous avions changé à la dernière minute pour cet hôtel sur recommandation d’un internaute, et nous ne regrettons pas notre choix La chambre Cosy double est grande, assez pour accueillir plusieurs valises ouvertes, et dispose d’un coffre, frigo, fauteuil, secrétaire, et cintres. Il y a une télé et une radio (nous n’avons pas réussi à la faire fonctionner mais rien de grave) La salle de bain est bien agencée, avec du gel douche et shampoing de marque Le service de ménage est vraiment parfait, tout est très propre. Le ménage est sur demande mais l’hôtel nous le précise bien en amont, par mail et à notre arrivée. Personnel accueillant L’hôtel est idéalement situé près de la station holborn et d’un Sainsbury’s dans un joli quartier Notre chambre donnait sur une rue calme. Seul petit bémol, le hall de l’hôtel est accueillant…peut-être un peu trop. Beaucoup de monde extérieur à l’hôtel y vient, ce qui génère un peu de bruit si l’on veut prendre un verre au calme. Peut-être serait-il possible à l’avenir de filtrer un peu l’accès ?

The room name "cozy double" is apt -- it's a small room but with a well considered design. Friendly staff, hip vibe, great location -- 5 minutes walk from the British Museum & a lovely, interesting 20 minute walk from Trafalgar Square.

The room was much smaller than expected even though we took the cosy double.

I have stayed at the Hoxton in Southwark and had a completely different experience. This is why I chose this hotel but was extremely disappointed. To claim it is 4 stars and ask 400 on some nights was absurd. The lobby was full of people who are not guests of the hotel leaving no space for those who are. The room was dark and dank with college/ uni like furniture. Stained carpet, and one window that was half blacked out. The TV had only a few local channels. I have traveled to London several times and know this is not the norm. The bathroom had no amenities, no makeup mirror, cotton balls, swabs, shower hat. There were no robes and the towels were rough and scratchy. The shower was open with only a small glass partition and after every shower it would flood in to the bathroom using all available towels to prevent someone from slipping and falling. There was a strange outlet in the bathroom (so hidden it was found at the end of the trip).The dirty glasses were never replaced, you have to request housekeeping and overall it felt like more of a hostel than a hotel. I only hope that people see this review as when I was doing my research if I saw an honest one like this I would have avoided this hotel at all cost!

small rooms. noisy neihgbors , you can hear Had asked for a low floor three weeks in advance, and when I got there, the front desk was chitchatting offering me a fifth floor upgrade instead of a low floor, which I asked for then I wound up in a fourth floor with a bad knee that’s why I requested it and I never got it. Not even the next day to follow up on me Terrible.

This is a wonderful hotel, with a cosy lobby, nice stuff and perfect location. I stayed for a week and I will return.

Hotel is generally fine for a short stay with nice bar/restaurant and lounge area. Rooms for the price paid, whilst finished to a good standard are small even for London, and the view to the internal courtyard isn’t great.

Center of London! let me say that again you are in the center of London the room was clean and recently updated the restaurant downstairs was world class if you want to be in the heart of the city you can’t go wrong

Amazing hotel, staff, environment and excellent service and a personal and highly professional attitude. I have been staying a lot at hotels in business trips and The Hoxton Holborn was top notch!!! Loving the radio which creates a cosy feeling of caring in my room, and all the branded products in the room like the soap, shampo and the shower gel. 10/10 Looking forward to return!

Staff were welcoming and friendly. The restaurant was pretty good. Our first time in London. Would return to this location. I recommend it 100%.

Quirky hotel. Great staff - super helpful!

Reception staff fab. Stayed before and will be returning again. Only disappointment is bar staff calling me "mate" and quite abrupt
