The New Inn

Very dog friendly. A bit too much so for me in a small bar. I am slightly allergic to dogs but ok if not in close proximity.

Food not good. They said breakfast was 8:15 but because we had a dog it was in the bar which was fine but we never got served. We had to catch the train so did not have a lot of time so all that was available was some packages of Alpen and orange juice. Another couple told us the same had happened to them. They were going to find some help but we did not have any longer. The dinner the previous evening was not good. Cottage was great especially with a dog. Lovely area. I would not recommend this Inn.

An excellent and typically quaint English pub. It has it's own micro-brewery too. Charming en-suite accomodation and very hearty breakfast. The 'full Yorkshire breakfast' is highly recommended.

Pleasant, traditional pub with its own brewery. Evening meal was classic pub fare, home cooked. Breakfast also traditional but hearty!

Great 2nd stay at the New Inn. Perfect for hiking from the pub. Welcome was great as was the drink and food

Positives - The ladies serving breakfast were so friendly and chatty and the breakfast was lovely. Other than that the rooms could really do with some TLC and the guy at the bar seemed to not want to be there at all. We were really appalled at the state of the kettle and bathroom. We wouldn't stay here again.

Room was comfortable and location good for getting around the Yorkshire Moors. Breakfast and pub food was very good. Would stay here again.

Had a wonderful stay at a wonderful pub. Location is perfect and character of the pub is amazing. Lovely locally brewed beer and great food. Bad timing on our part that the brewery was closed so couldn't do the tour but gives u great excuse to go back.

Lovely old pub with log burner in bar, friendly staff and locals, made very welcome. Stayed three nights in the four poster room, situated outside of main building but ideal for our two small dogs. Home cooked meals, very good and generous, good range of ales, most from adjoining brewery. Located in the countryside, highly recommended.

The cottage was lovely, clean and warm. Meals were nice in the pub, the pies on Tuesday Pie night were very tasty! Would definitely stay again

We had a room above the bar, bed comfortable but the bathroom let the property down. It was old, and that’s ok but it needed a really good clean. We ate in the bar and the food was ok, as was breakfast.it’s a nice traditional pub with rooms, not sure if we would return to stay the night.
