The Prince Regent Hotel

It had everything you needed and 2 minutes from the beach front, I stayed for Develop conference and it's just around the corner. Friendly staff and able to come and go as I need. Shower wasn't too powerful but that's the only minor negative :)

Basically with this hotel; you get what you pay for. Booked a single bed for 1 night beginning of July 2018. I know Brighton very well and so thew hotel is in an ideal location. Not far from Brighton train station, very close to the beach, i360 tower and very close to the main high street and shopping centre. I arrived about 1 and half hours early for check in and fortunately the lady at reception let me check in early at no extra cost, for which I am very greatful! I received a double bed although I booked a single bed so I certainly didn't complain about that, was a nice bonus. I'm not bothered as to where the window looks out to or anything like that. I mainly booked the room because I just needed a bed to sleep in as I was only there for one night. The en suite bathroom was ok. The corner shower unit was dirty/scummy at the bottom. other than that it was all clean. I'm not sure why but the hotel doesn't provide cold water through the bathroom taps. The running water just goes warm in both taps. When its a hot summer (rare in the UK I know!) it's nice to have cold water to wash your face with. The hotel wifi signal didn't reach my bed! I had no signal from the hotel wifi in my bedroom so had to rely on my 4G which gave me 1 bar! All in all the room was fine, the hotel is fine, the reception was fine, you basically get what you pay for. Except for the wifi signal.

- Das Hotel ist ein Dreckstall - Das Personal ist unfreundlich bis unverschämt - Bilder im Internet entsprechen nicht der Wahrheit, Posterbetten sind nur ca. 1,60m lang - Frühstück 200m entfernt, man hat dort nur ein Limit von 5 GBP, obwohl Frühstück angeblich inklusive ist - Grüne Lampe im Zimmer leuchtet die ganze Nacht grell - Verbindungstüren zu Nebenzimmern, man hört dadurch jedes Wort vom Nachbarn - Lauter Lärm bis in die Nacht aus einer Kneipe - Teppiche voller Flecken - Müll hinter der Heizung und unter dem Bett - Möbel alt und muffig - Bad so klein, dass man nicht mit geschlossener Tür auf der Toilette sitzen kann - Kein Aufzug, steile und enge Treppen bis in den 4. Stock - Angeblich nicht in der Lage, eine Rechnung zu drucken - Nach Beanstandung der "Sauberkeit" kam keine Entschuldigung, sondern nur Unverschämtheiten und Unfreundlichkeiten - NIE WIEDER !!!

semble oublié de l'entretient depuis un demi siècle: plomberie archaïque une partie des éclairages lampe grillée literie viellotte et douteuse accès à la chambre (4°) uniquement par un escalier étroit. surface de la chambre laissant juste un étroit passage autour du lit.

This is a terrible hotel and I would not recommend it. I was given a room which was extremely small and the toilet was not working. I changed the room but I had no hot water. The service was not friendly and the building needs maintenance.
